Thanks for this one, Vic — hearing Stan Lee, a man who gave comics things no one has ever seen, say that this movie will do the same is very encouraging.

Two things came to mind when reading this comment on the Iron Man movie: “…overlook my silly cameo…” makes me think that the movie might be taking a more serious path than the more tongue-in-cheek subtleties of the other Marvel movies — well, as serious as you could get with a character like Toni Stark played by Downey Jr.

Also the mentioning of Mr. Hefner in the film interests me in that it will be geared towards older viewers.

As for the Hulk movie.. Well, I think the only way I’d remotely enjoy the new movie is if the Hulk mixed the Captain America formula with the Hulk one ( as done in the newer comics ) and therecame the conflict.

Rev,

You bring up a couple of VERY good points regarding his comments. Casting RDJ instead of some younger guy already points towards the older viewer angle and I do believe this will be a fairly serious take on the character.

Hilarous comments on “Who Wants To Be A Superhero” and on point. Stan is king of positivety, but this time, in my heart, I believe IM will be something special. From casting to special effects and a very respected writer all check marks!
