Almost as bad as the rumored Jack Black/Green Lantern movie I’ve heard about. Slapstick, I’m sure and STUPID, STUPID idea!

Oh they’re assuring us that it WON’T be a comedy, but we’ll see how far they venture in that direction.

Now all we need is Jack Black in the title role.

Maybe they’ll go with Ryan Reynolds. ;-)

Wait a tic Blade II wasn’t that bad. In fact I enjoyed Blade II a lot. He would have done The Flash justice.

Alfredo,

Maybe I’m just remembering “Blade II” wrong. The only thing that really stood out for me in that movie was incredibly terrible CGI that was used in some of the fight scenes to show the characters moving in superhuman ways. If felt like they spliced video game footage into the film. ;-\

I think its going to end up being the Warner Bros. equivalent of “Fantastic Four” - funny, mildly enjoyable but not really in the same league as “X-Men 2″ or “Spider-Man 2″ - or “Batman Begins and “Superman Returns” in the case of “The Flash”.

That’s actually a really good analogy. Tim Story, the director of “Fantastic Four” had a similar non-action/superhero, comedy film background.

As Ryan Renolds is playing Deadpool now, I think that the “Not so funny” flash could be Matt Fox
