Peter Jackson’s remake of King Kong now has an official website. This is no hokey flash animation site either, we’re talking production diaries in the form of Quicktime files baby!
It’s brand new, so there isn’t a ton of stuff there yet, but you can get a good idea of what you’ll be seeing on the site as production gets into high gear. Personally, I’m going to try hard not to visit it much since I don’t like to spoil movies for myself. Of course everyone knows the basic storyline, but I’m sure Peter Jackson (who looks like he’s lost a ton of weight, BTW) will throw in some cool stuff.

Cool site… the DVD is bound to rock too, given the same treatment. The only thing is… I still can’t get over the casting of Jack Black. Et tu, Peter Jackson?

If you really look at the Denning character in the original film, Jack Black might actually have been a good choice.
