Click here for the Mission Impossible III (or is that “3″?) trailer. It looks like once again it’s personal for Ethan Hunt, and Philip Seymour Hoffman looks like he makes a very effective bad guy.
Nothing earth-shattering there, just a typical uber-action trailer… but I think you could overlay that Mission Impossible theme over just about anything and make it seem cool. 
J.J. Abrams of Lost and Alias fame has written and is directing.

The trailer is hyper-edited obviously, but the movie looks promising. The cast is impressive as well. Here’s hoping it will be better than the underwhelming M:I 2.

Unless they have changed that trailer since you posted the link, I thought that was incredibly underwhelming…
And, the Tom Cruise factor too. It’s hard to believe him with a dead serious look on his face after you read what comes out of his mouth in the press. The escapism factor is 100% dead with him and any project he appears in.
