I beg to differ. I really enjoyed the commercials and I really dug their style and think he could definitely be the right man for the job.

Plus, I’m a sucker for relative unknowns that get their big breaks from greedy studios. Greedy studios don’t like taking risks usually and hiring a person who has never directed a feature film is a HUGE risk.

Hmm… I found my mind wandering on those commercials and after I while I started thinking “when will this be OVER?”. :-)

Why remake a good movie?

Don’t they have anything better to do?

And don’t you forget Peter Ustinov! I really wonder how they want to cast the roles for that one. Puh-lease not another Matt Damon-Flick! Or Will Smith. *shudder*

Not really disappointing considering that Brian Singer was going to be doing this originally. Everyting Singer touches turns to excrement, so I would look at this as a positive thing.

Also, just because this guy does commercials and video games doesn’t mean he lacks the skills and aspirations to direct a feature film… Gotta start somewhere, right?

Those game titles he’s got under his belt are big titles too, like Gears of War and Halo. And video game production is no small task.

Anyway, I look forward to it. It really seams like the execs are enjoying his work because Kosinski recently got handed the Tron remake.
