Is the casting crew still lookin for casts or auditioners to get a part for the movie?

I couldn’t tell you… don’t know. A good source for what’s going on with “The Dark Knight” is the website Batman on Film, to which I provide a link above.

I hope the suit looks like the Alex Ross one from
the comics. I hate the batsuits from all the movies so far. They all look like crap. Stick to
the comics, and you can’t go wrong.

Kel,

I think they are going to change the costume in this movie and make it less “rubbery”, but I wouldn’t count on a full-on Alex Ross look.

BTW, I don’t know if you’ve ever seen this, but it’s a super cool short Batman film that DOES use an Alex Ross costume:

Hey Vic,
thanks man,but I’ve already seen Batman:Dead End.
It’s really good,I’ve also seen the Sandy Collora
short film Superman/Batman:World’s Finest. The
suit used in those shorts are very good, and I
still hope the suit in the Dark Knight will look
similar.I mean it can still be bullet proof and
fire proof to a degree, but this is a rare
opportunity to break the all black movie costume
tradition started by Tim Burton, and I hope Chris
Nolan and gang do it.

Part of the fun will be seeing what they do with the costume. I think we’re in good hands on this one.

Does Heath Ledger deserve an Oscar or is it all Hype?

“The whole notion that Heath Ledger deserves an Oscar nomination is completely and unequivocally true. His untimely death may have put his performance on our radars, but his rendition of the classic psychopath, The Joker, is scary and mesmerizing and left me disturbed…Heath Ledger really does deserve the nod…”
