Supposedly, there are synonyms for the term “allegedly”, but the jury purportedly is still out. Evidently, the term “allegedly” gets used too much, or so they say. Theoretically, one could substitute a different word with the same or, presumably, a similar meaning. Obstensibly, these words are uncommon, so hypotetically only uncommon people would use them to avoid over-using a seemingly common word like “allegedly”.

Niall,
No offense to you bud. Just wanted to see how many synonyms I could use. LOL Wordsmithing has always been a hobby. =)

Well you can kind of get a taste of what the Writers had to deal with for 3 months.

It is unfathomable to me that the Tolkein family has not received a single penny to date.

How the hell does that even happen?

Vic

I can’t believe I missed this news on Watchmen before. Why on earth are they trying to put a stop to it now that the project has moved so far forward? If this puts it back in dev hell, I swear I will kill someone at Fox.

NOTE TO 20th CENTURY FOX: I am just kidding. Probably.
