I hope they at least reference the conspiracy a little. I mean at the end of season9 they were basically on the run…

Can’t wait for this film. It will be great to see Mulder and Scuuuullllyyy back together.

Niall, for what its worth, (I don’t put much faith in tv guide) however their quoting from Chris Carter today that the New X-Files film plot is a “continuation of the series, imagining how the characters lives have evolved.

Also on the Conspiracy plot in the tv show ,,,”Its going to be government based as far as the conspiracy goes, but expect this NOT to be a revisitation of the shows convoluted conspiracy”.

This is great news to me (if true). I wasn’t too hyped to see a Wearwolf/Batboy episode or a alien implant plotline.

Simply I just CAN’T WAIT ANYMORE!!! I want to see on the BIG SCREEN and I WANT IT NOOOWWWWWW!!!!

I Knew the xfiles lately, just a few years ago, after the original end of 9th season. I saw the movie too. Recently I’ve bought all seasons in DVD and I’m about to begin the last one.
The only bad thing I can sea until now, is the dark Mulder that the original Fox Mulder of the Pilot Episode have become since 7th season.

Hey Lucas glad to hear from a fellow X-files fan!!
Concerning Mulder you have to admit he was getting more Jaded with things and had to go underground for seasons 7 and 8.

He is in the last 2 part episode and its a good one.

Hope you like Season 9. I really liked Robert Patrick and the epsodes during season 9 had alot of closure to them.
^
I’ll never forget the one that had the Brady Bunch house and Bud Bundy in the same episode. Rock on Lucas I’ll see you in line.

Lucas said,

Hi, I have to admit at the end of episode 20th still don’t like Robert Patrick at all, not even a very very little bit.
But, as says Agent Mónica Reyes, I’m an open-mind person, so I hope I can change my mind in the 9th.
One question for anyone now: When might be the new xfiles movie on big screen?!

Sorry about the grammar and syntax, but English is not my native language, ok.

Another question people: Do you want another season? Well, I do!! Who don’t? :D :D :D :D

steve adams said,

Well yea I guess
Yeah Lucas, alot of folks didn’t like Robert Patrick, IMO, I thought he was perfect for the role.

Release date is July 25th.
What part of the world are you in?

It usually comes out 1 month everywhere else.

Sure I would love to see a new X-files tv show. But I’m not sure Ducovney would be involved. He left the show after season 7 to go do films. Now he’s working on the Showtime show “Californcation”.
But maybe they could do a reboot.

Don’t even joke about rebooting!!

To me Duchovny was a huge part of the show. I’m hoping for a series of movies though, so I’m praying that this is a hit!

Hi Steve Adams:
Well, you’ll see, I don’t care DD himself, I just care about the characters, I mean if DD is replaced by another actor (Denis Quaid, Topher Grace or whoever) but remains the soul of FOX MULDER it’s just fine, the tv series goes on, I only care the story.

I’m from Argentina.

And that about 1 month, what is it? It’s about the new movie?

steve adams said,
February 3rd, 2008

Hey Lucas, yeah I wouldn’t mind seeing Topher Grace in a new X-files. He would be a good choice.
^
I hope your right and this does spark a new show!
^
Greetings Argentina.

Lucas said,
February 3rd, 2008

well, I would choose Denis Quaid, but whatever, doesn’t matter, have you seen them both in the movie “In goog company” from 2005 it’s a bit old but i tink it’s a good movie.

’bout new seasons we should contact Chris Carter and ark for one, two, maybe 20 more seasons, what d’you think people?

Steve, where are your from?

steve adams said,
February 3rd, 2008

Hey Lucas, no I didn’t see that film. Denis Quaid seems a bit too old for a new tv series and he’s pretty much a film actor.
I would totally be down for more x-files!!
^
Lucas I’m writting you from Burbank California. :)

Lucas said,

Maybe to act as Fox but, Mitch Pileggi is older than David, and you have to admit that Denis Quaid is better actor than that guy who represents to D.A. Fallmer in the 9th season.

steve adams said,

I’m all for a new cast. Let’s not recast Agent Mulder let’s hand it off to a new team!!

Lucas said,
February 3rd, 2008

yeah, that’s what i’m talking about!!!, new team, same old story, jajaja yeah!!! Chris should think about it, Am I right? ;)
