Well, thanks for clearing up that Iron Man story. Screen Rant has now been removed from my bookmarks, and I will no longer be visiting. I don’t respect sites that participate in this kind of foolishness.

Best April foolery by a website this year is won by Youtube by far.

Sorry to see you go, then again, if one post out of 500 on a day known for pranks annoys you that much…

And based on the number of sites listed above you’ve got a lot of bookmarks to remove.

Vic, I have just two things to say:

A) Of the sites listed, Screen Rant is the only one I visit.

B) Have you forgotten what today is? If so, may I point out your headline? “Don’t Believe Everything You Read Today.”

I may hate April 1, I may get seriously annoyed by the foolishness this day usually results in, but leaving a site because of it is just overreacting. If I did that, I wouldn’t have any reason to keep paying for internet access.

Oh crap… did you just pull one on ME??? LOL, nice one, dude. :-)
BTW, some of the sites above are among the biggest movie news sites out there, so I’m in pretty good company.

I’m glad you appreciated it. I figure if someone gets me, I’ll just turn around and return the favor.

Flamestrike, you had me too! I was gonna ask you to stay (if you were still lurking) cuz your screen name is the best. Well, the best if you don’t count Iron Bastard, LOL.

The sad thing is, most of the rumours *should* be true if movie execs wanted to make some awesome theatre experiences.

Most notably, the Han Solo thing, Cloverfield monster vs. Optimus, Routh and Bale in JLA, Marvel Crossovers, etc.

It’s actually 2 crappy news days due to a pesky little thing called the international dateline. And the worst ones of course still get indexed by google so you still need to check the date of any articles years later.

However I did like Blizzard’s Tauren Space Marines for Star Craft 2, and and Lord of the Rings Online expansion: The Battle of Amon Hen.

Hey Dark, I usually add a disclaimer to a post after the holiday since the posts do hang around the search engines forever.

Hey Vic,

It’s all good buddy.

I know people who fall for them years later and post up links without checking the dates. They’re the same sort of people who send out advisories to the entire company via email to burp when you get chest pains etc..

Teevee.org used to do hilarious ones, they’d replicate various station websites with the “new upcoming shows” taking the piss out of their current shows. The radio version they’ve got up now is pretty funny.
