Well I liked Burton’s Planet of the Apes. Of course, there’s no comparison between Marky Mark and the legendary Charleston Heston but I did like the movie.

I remember watching Dark Shadows when I was young (some 2 million years ago LOL). I like Johnny Depp as an actor and look forward to this film. I assume he will be playing the lead, Barnabus Collins; it will be strange seeing Depp play a vampire.

This could be a fun movie. I generally like Johnny Depp movies and Tim Burton movies as well (I avoided Sweeney Todd like the plague, though). I can TOTALLY see Depp as a vampire-let’s just hope it’s not Captain Jack Sparrow the vampire. LOL.

If you consider the title,
its almost a warning that 3 years after this film is released the world will end.
(Or a sequel to 2010.)

Huh…interesting. It’s good that Burton and Depp are still working together, and there certainly isn’t a better team to work on this project.

I am absolutely stoked about this. It’s interesting to see where depp will go with this, perhaps the darkness of Sweeney Todd with the style of Ichabod Crane and the odd flamboyancy of Captain Jack Sparrow? Interesting. In my eyes, neither Depp nor Burton can do any wrong.

I’m surprised this article failed to mention perhaps the most classic of all Hollywood pairings: Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro.

I was going to mention Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro, but I didn’t want to make Leonardo DiCaprio jealous!
