Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian Trailer & Poster

I haven't given the Chronicles of Narnia movies much coverage, but this trailer for the second film in the series - Prince Caspian, looks pretty good.
I watched the first one with high hopes, but in the end I was left a bit disappointed by it. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, while visually very cool and despite the fact that I liked the actors, just felt kind of... empty to me. I can't put my finger on it, but I was expecting to be moved by it in a way similar to how the Lord of the Rings trilogy affected me. It looked like that was the vibe they were going for, but in the end I thought it fell flat.

The first Narnia movie did extremely well, earning almost $300 million in the U.S. and over $740 million overall. Are you looking forward to this one?

Didn't see the first one(loved the book)because of the same reason. Just feels like something is missing.
Caspian was the most boring book in the series. This trailer gave me chills.
Vic, LW&W stuck closely to the book. If it hadn't, CS Lewis fans would have had a cow. But movies need different pacing than books. Individual scenes were excellent, but I agree about the movie.
Can't wait for this flick. The LW&W is one of my favorite movies ever. The symbolism and meaning of the story is significant and makes it much more than just another movie for me.
Yeah... I think the flip side of that symbolism is going to keep a lot of people away from "The Golden Compass."

Thanks for posting the trailer here. I haven't had any luck getting it to play elsewhere, and I've been looking forward to this movie since I first heard about it.
As for the symbolism, I really don't care about that. I'm looking forward to this one just as much as I am to "The Golden Compass."
Yeah, in the first Narnia movie it was extremely subtle, as I'm sure the flip side will be in "Compass."
I don't think I'll be seeing The Golden Compass, though.

I read a few of the Narnia books when i was in elementary school and wouldn't have noticed any symbolism. I suspect i'll see this movie just to see how much of the book i can remember.
OK, i just watched the trailer. That brought back exactly 0 memories of the book. I've always had trouble with fiction books, too many names to remember.
Yaaaaaay I can't wait to see the movie. I seen the first one in theaters with my son and he loved it too. So I will definently be taking him to see this one in theaters too :D I don't know if Price Caspian was the boring book Jim cause I never read any of the books lol. But it LOOKS god anyway. I hope that its not boring like you say the book was lmao.
C.S Lewis when he wrote the Cronicles of Narnia had by that point become a Christian. So all of the Narnia series is written with the Christian symbolism in it because that was his purpose. He was using his gift of writing so people could see Christ, His love for us, what He did and does for us, and the spritual battles we face in a light that might speak to them while making a great story. That is the reason why the Chronicles are such great stories full of HOPE! The symbolism is so obvious if you know anything about the Bible. If not, I suggest you read and research. As for the Golden Compass...It is written by an Atheist who has the opposite desire. His intention (spoken from his own mouth) is to turn innocent children and people against Christ. He even wants the children to kill God in the movie somewhere. For that fact that movie is EMPTY and without HOPE! I have not seen it and will not watch it and advise you to not as well. There is only one unforgivable sin and that is denying Christ!! Think about this...If Christ did not exist and it was all just stories in the Bible, then why would anyone need to oppose it so much and make opposite stories denying Him and His existence??? Some people believe in aliens and some don't. You don't see those people who don't fighting so hard to prove they don't exist do you??? Yes people try to prove it's a hoax but is it extreme? NO. Don't believe me? Try to talk about alien existence to one who doesn't believe and they might discuss it but that's about it. Try to talk about Christ to a non-believer and they will get mad or say they don't want to hear it. What a different reaction! Christ is one thing that has always been opposed so extremely from the day He came into the world til now. There's got to be something to that. Don't ya think.
Just saw this last night and it's better than the first. Go see it!
