Listen up: If you’re a big time movie fan, and I’m talking of recent films as well as classics going back 70 years you need to drop what you’re doing and watch this video right now.
What is it? It is a string of short clips from 100 movies, with each quote containing a number in countdown order. So it starts with a movie quote containing the number 100 and each subsequent clip counts down one digit until you get all the way down to the clip that mentions the number one.
What’s the big deal? It’s brilliant, and it will put both a lump in your throat and a smile on your face as you see scenes from films you may have forgotten about and wonder at the cleverness of just a guy (Alonzo Mosley, 34-year-old librarian from Jacksonville, Florida) who managed to pull this all together.
The entire thing lasts almost 9 1/2 minutes, but it’s totally worth it. The overall effect is really moving and as you get down to the final ten clips you’ll be riveted as you try to guess which ones have been saved for last.

I am embarrased to admit that I’ve only seen 59 of the 100 movies listed in the video. I’d be curious to know how many of them you’ve seen.
Enjoy!

That was right up my alley. Great video. Wow.
Interesting. I didn’t recognize too many. Did you say there’s a list? Where?
Great video, haven’t seen most of those movies in years.
