My buds over at ReelzChannel emailed me to let me know that although 30 Days of Night hasn’t even opened yet (it comes out in a few days) there’s already talk of a sequel. Here’s a brief quote from an interview they’ll be releasing tomorrow with screenwriter Brian Nelson regarding the possibility of a sequel happening:
“I’ll just tantalizingly say it is possible you might see more of The Stranger [a main character in the film] in the future.”

I have to say.. I’ll be really excited if they make a sequel to this. Don’t won’t to shout out any spoilers but I think the plot could have been better.. but the movie ended great and had me ont he edge of my seat the entire time.

they gotta make a sequal!…. the movie only covers 30 days of the 65 night period of barrow alaska. the sun only comes up for a couple of hours… they have to go back and hide at some point. there is much more that the creators should cover. and we’re all looking for a sequal. the look in stellas eyes at the end really leads to that idea. i hope another one comes out!!!!
