Is it just me, or is this the show for RoboCop vets: Peter Weller, Paul McCrane, Ray Wise and now Kurtwood Smith! I love it!!!

Unh….can’t think….head hurts… too many Die Hard scripts mixed together…pile toppling…someone call John McClane, I mean, Jack Bauer…

Seriously, did every writer from the first few seasons quit or have they just all been watching 80’s action movies for story ideas?

And the Tony angle…wtf. There are more realistic plot devices in a Jerry Bruckheimer film. Hey, I have an idea for Season 8. Ryan Chappele’s corpse drives a van filled with toxic gas, a nuclear device and tons of copies of the last 3 seasons of 24 in a van and ONLY JACK BAUER CAN STOP IT!!!!!!

LOL, hey, tell us how you REALLY feel. :-)
There does indeed seem to be a Die Hard 4 vibe, and I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt regarding how Almeida makes such a drastic and extreme 180.

I thought Tony was dead…Oh, well, it’s like a comic book, we need to accept it. Btw, yeah, though I haven’t seen Die Hard 4.0 yet (er, Live Free or Die Hard), the plots sound familiar.

Didn’t anyone else doubt Tony’s “death”?It’s no Reset Button. Tony was curled up on the floor…later, Jack nearly wept over his fallen friend. No one had pronounced Tony dead. He was only PRESUMED dead.

It sounds like one of those jokes: ‘When Jack Bauer grieves you, you ARE dead.’ I admit, I thought Almeda would have returned sooner, but not even Tony could have rescued Season 6.

I gave up on season 6 when the terrorists were killed and Audrey (Aubrey) came back.

Heath, yeah, that felt like the “jump the shark” moment for the show, but I stuck it out.

Jim, with the writers’ proclivity for killing off characters I thought he was just another casualty. To be honest I don’t remember the specifics of that episode.
