It was good you didn’t see The Omen remake; it was garbage. As for a remake of Capricorn One, sure, I’ll see it.

I never liked the ending of the original, with the two men running to the funeral, with the soppy music playing. Maybe an actual climax could happen this time.

Was a good movie though, and Gould was really good.

I guess if they can remake Psycho and And Manchurian Candidate they can certainly remake Capricorn One.
I liked the original,
I will see the remake.
I HATED Psycho though(In color?SACRILIEGE!)
I thought Manchchurian Candidate was pretty good.

“Capricorn One isn’t a beloved classic.”

To whom I wonder.

But anyway, if given a proper spin on its conspiracy-story this might actually work. As long as they hire at least some decent film composer I will not complain this time! So Hans Zimmer & Co. stay away! ;)

The original was a decent idea that turned into a standard chase movie. They HAVE to consider giving Josh Brolin his father’s role, surely? The depressing thing is a remake will bring all the “Apollo missions were faked” cretins out of the woodwork like bugs on a cake.

And didn’t Escape From New York already get remade as Escape From LA? Shot for shot in some scenes. Half the budget for that one went up Carpenter’s nose I’ll warrant: don’t encourage him.

A conspiracy themed film!! Only that Hollywood might find an excuse to inject anti-American sentiments into their conspiracy-laced films. It’s the bad, evil, greedy, egoistic, capitalistic imperialists that are putting the lives of their fellow country men at stake just for political arrogance and national pride!!
