A player of Animal Crossing: New Horizons has gone viral after sharing a clip of themselves hiding a body on their island. Animal Crossing's range of items gives users lots of freedom when it comes to decorating and designing, and some of the latest items introduced with the November 2.0 update have offered lots of fun and frivolity with a wide breadth of choices.

The latest Animal Crossing game is approaching its second anniversary and many players still can't get enough of its relaxing, slice-of-life gameplay. The November 2.0 update helped to introduce more players to the title thanks to the many features it introduced, which include cooking, farming, Gyroids, returning NPCs, and the Roost cafe. One of the most highly-appreciated parts of the update was the many new items it introduced, allowing designers to perfect their builds and creations with the addition of things like the Storefront, Castle set, and more. Fans have been using the new items to create everything from movie scenes to The Witcher 3 remade in Animal Crossing.

Twitter's girl_reply has gone viral after sharing their Animal Crossing player character disposing of a body. The post, which has received over 173,000 Likes at the time of writing, shows girl_reply dragging the Rescue Mannequin item across their island paths, hiding it behind a custom-made building to avoid it being found. The hilarious clip puts a darker spin on the family-friendly Nintendo classic, and shows just how far its boundaries can be pushed with the right item and some imagination.

Like lots of first-party Nintendo titles, ACNH shies away from gruesome and gory themes in favor of family-friendly play, but that doesn't mean the title is wholly free from some dark mysteries. Interacting with the dog house item will reveal a pair of glowing red eyes seen from the depths of the house, while one Animal Crossing wallpaper reveals ghosts in players' homes. The Rescue Mannequin might be a medical item rather than a supernatural one, but like most things in ACNH, it requires only a little imagination for it to be the perfect accessory for spookier islands.

Animal Crossing's Rescue Mannequin has become one of the most popular items for creative builds and designs, and is perhaps one of the game's quirkier items. Like girl_reply, lots of players have used the mannequin as a stand-in for a corpse, with popular builds adding Custom Designs emulating blood to create murder scenes. The item is an unusual one that might look out of place on an ACNH Cottagecore or Kidcore island, but that hasn't stopped fans finding fun and strange uses for the corpse-like item within spookier or more brutal builds.
