  1. wow i am surprisingly looking forward to that.
Really liked the book but hated The Da Vinci Code.

  2. At least they fixed Hank’s Hair.

  3. I’m betting we just saw everything exciting that happens in the movie.

    Vic

  4. I sure hope not, Vic, because the book was AWESOME, better than DaVinci Code if you ask me. I hope this movie is good, but I don’t expect it to be as good as the book. Movies based on novels never are, unfortunately. This movie, judging from the trailer, looks pretty damn good and seems to hit alot of what I remember from the book. Time will tell, though.

  5. I agree that the Da Vinci Code was not that good. I found it to be very boring. This movie looks to be equally just as boring. I may someday watch it on cable though if I’m already bored and don’t mind wasting time.

  6. The mullet’s gone, but Hanks is still horribly miscast in this role.

  7. i think i might check this one after all…

  8. I read both books, and Angels & Demons is by far the superior book. In fact, the DaVinci Code only made waves because it was written to stir controversy.

  9. Just started the book,
    Enjoying it so far.
I am hopeful for this film.

  10. I enjoyed both books and cannot choose which I enjoy more.

I did not enjoy The Da Vinci Code film at all. I want to believe that Angels & Demons will be so much more better than The Da Vinci Code movie but only time will tell.

  11. Oh well, I guess I’ll be in the minority again; I didn’t think The Da Vinci Code was that bad. It wasn’t great but I was entertained. I agree with Mark that the contraversy of the book led to the $700 million plus.

  12. If I hadn’t read the book, I know I would have enjoyed The Da Vinci Code so much. However, I feel that having read the book…the film stood way too close to the book pretty much word for word, leaving nothing new for a reader to see, and the ending wasn’t right.

  13. For some reason, as great as an actor as Hanks is, he does not click for me in that role… again. It’s like he’s acting like he’s acting…

  14. I noticed that too.

  15. Angles and demons is the best book ever written in the history og earth, it is the most origonal and surprising thrillers ever and I have rwead it sevon times in the past three years and NEVER tire from the ending.
By the way there is a way to make your oun ambigrams on a special website that I forget the name of.
LONG LIVE THE ILLUMINATI!-[if they are still alive]

  16. @ x-smallvillefan,

How did you feel about The Da Vinci Code movie?

  17. loved the d-code

  18. Da Vinci Code was decent. This looks better, mainly because they got a handle on Tom Hank’s Mini Mullet
