american chopper senior junior season 3 finale meeting American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior Finale Building A Bike Together?

The moment that fans have been waiting for has finally arrived: In the American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior season 3 finale, Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. met face-to-face to put to rest the conflict that has been going on between them for the past few years. Now that everything has been revealed on camera, is it possible that Senior and Junior are going to build a bike together?

It’s not exactly the outcome one expected to see from this last-minute meeting – the final moments of the finale revealed an interesting meeting between Paul Jr. and Paul Sr., where both revealed the intricate details of their conflict and what actually occurred between the estranged father and son.

It had both of them attempting to figure out what they are looking for out of their relationship, with much of the conversation focused on Paul Jr. believing that his father misunderstood what occurring in the previous, off camera, meeting.

As the conversation escalated, both Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. brought up hurt feelings from broken promises and bad mouthing. When the meeting ended, Senior and Junior’s relationship was not resolved.

Additionally, the moment that fans thought would never happen finally came to pass: Mikey has left the series. Hinting at his intentions over the past few episode, Mikey’s decision to leave the series (in hopes of bettering his relationship with his father) was met with much disbelief from series fans. That being said, one can’t deny that seeing him say goodbye to everyone wasn’t at least a little bit emotional.

Now that Mikey has made the decision to officially leave the series, one has to wonder how (or if) the dynamic of the show will be changed – and for better or worse. Though not as involved with the bike builds as he (somewhat) used to be, Mikey’s inclusion in the series always helped keep the series grounded – and oftentimes light-hearted.

Ending the season on a cliffhanger, Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. were on the phone together, discussing their next project. As the episode came to a close, viewers were waiting to find out whether or not Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. will be building a bike together.

Whether or not that actually happens still remains to be seen, but it will certainly be interesting to see what happens next season. With many fans looking for more bike building and less family drama, perhaps a change in the series will be welcomed. Of course, one does have to wonder how many people will have a hard to believing that these two would ever build a bike together.

  1. REMEMBER THERE WOULD BE NO PAUL JR OR PJD WITHOUT PAUL SR AND OCC!!!!!!!

    • REMENBER THERE WOULD BE NO SENIOR OR OCC WITHOUT PAUL JNR!!!!!

      • there will be no jr if there is no OCC

  2. Overheard a guy talking on his cell phone in a bank lobby in Orange County, NY yesterday: “he’s going to be building a bike with his father, we’re going to start shooting that today”. Take that however you will.

    • WELL, it looks like you heard right. I’m hugely happy father and son have come back together to work on the relationship…but now they are even considering a new business venture together. That I’m not keen on seeing…it will lead to disaster, sadly.

  3. sr needs to stop whining about jr.hes acting like a spoilt child, no wonder non of his kids taik to him, his loss. GROW UP MAN!!!!

  4. He’s just to old to grown up dude. Too late for him to grown up.

  5. I for myself hope this series goes on forever, I’m real used to them coming into my home every Monday, don’t know what the heck I’ll do if the series totally ends. They so much feel like they are my family also.

  7. Jr needs to check himself! Sr is his father! Not perfect, but Is trying to salvage relationship with his son. Jr needs to think about where he would be without his father and more importantly where he will be when his father is gone!!!

  9. So glad they r back together watching them rite now

    • I advocated for them to make up, to check their egos and to forgive the past. BUT I DON’T WANT TO SEE THEM GO BACK INTO BUSINESS TOGETHER, EVER! IT’S ALREADY A BREWING STORM – AND SR. CANNOT ACCEPT THAT JR IS A DESIGNER AT HEART AND SHOULD BE GIVEN THAT RESPECT. Sr. can’t accept a little lesser role – he has to gum up the process with his over controlling ways…which is exactly why Jr. will lag and procrastinate. Jr. If you read this, YOU can’t change your old man – he loves you and you him but you are barking up the wrong bike build if you think this will do anything but have the same result as it did in the past. Please, put the kibosh on this ridiculous plan to do a family business again – PLEASE!!!!!

  10. Snr needs to grow up..he gives the impression he is hard done by…I would never as a father myself call my kids in front of other employees. Snr is pathetic, all his staff lick his ass and laugh at his stupid comments. Rick is the only one with any sense there and I would love to see Rick move back with Junior

  11. 6 of one and half a dozen of the other !
That’s what we see on the show ! Its getting painful to watch now !
It must be hard for you both having a show fame and fortune
Don’t you feel as role models it’s about time you sorted it one way or the other !

  12. Paul jr and Sr. doing business together again.

  13. to paul snr mate i have 2 kids i love them to bits love them to love u do not push them away at the end of the day thats ur blood love man take care

  14. Who cares? Both are idiots and this show was over 10 yrs ago. The whole thing is a ridiculous waste of time, waste of electrons making a digital recording of these morons.

  15. Paul Senior’s facility is set up to build bikes mass production. Junior’s business model allows for creative one-offs. Senior should expect nothing more than what Junior is capable of providing – creative design, based on what a customer wants or based on market research – what does the public in general want. Let Senior accept or reject Paul Junior’s designs. Pay Paul a percentage or a one time commission for his efforts if the design is not used. If the design is accepted. Junior would be obligated to provide Senior’s CAD guy the required information to get the design digitized. I forget the CAD guy’s name but he was a jerk for yelling at Junior. Junior did not mean that he was useless, but that he (Paul Jr) did not use a CAD design process at his own place of business.

Without a clearly defined process with flow charts, decision points, appreciation for what each party brings to the table and clearly defined areas of responsibility- a new business between father and son is (I think) doomed to fail.

  16. Jason is out of line, and defenitly fueled the fire.Thats why you guys need to build something you can agree on.Dont involve anyone else,Do the build over at dads.Take time out to go fishing or??? tell each other you love each other.Tell your son your prod of him!

  17. I just have to say that paul jr. and his dad should be father and son. forget about going into a partnership. also and most inportantly, jason is a dumb-ass child!! and he doesn’t even realize it. yeal he has skills but , he’s a dick!!!!!!
Good luck pauls and enjoy each other differences! Your stronger together then against each other
    long live mikey !!!!!!!! ;)

  18. I feel so sad its took a bike to bring you to back together.you guys should be spending so much time together end of story. your dad looks so frail Paul. i don’t know what has gone on but he is your dad mate. feel like a can call u mate as a have watched every series every build. you guys are magic together farther n son

  19. would these two egomaniacs have had the big fight and thrown things around and chucked their toys out of the pram if they had not had cameras in their faces to play up to? when all is said and done they build bikes thats what they do if that takes them working for seperate companies so be it. there is no reason they have to work together. most parents dont as far as we know it could have just been a marketing ploy to gain more interest in custom bikes which seems to have become secondary in this once interesting series

  20. the best thing ever happened was cancling this show i owen a j&p cycle book to build a bike and can order a bike everyday from them jesse jamse is the best bike builder if occ was the only place i could get my bikes fixed i would sell them all before i would let them work on them

  21. I hope they make peace although Sr started the comp. Jr put them on the map occ would be nothing without Jr.vinnie dueserves more reconition Sr would not be able 2do what he does now without Rick + his team that he bought out of Jr’s genius+ he wouldn’t of bought staff+machinery Sr doesn’t realise what Jr did for him without him he couldn’t afford the machines +staff without Jr he has to realise that he has treated Jr terrible it not enough to sack him he doing everything in his power to stop him making a living what type of father can do that I hope he sees what he’s doing cos he’s a good man letting his greed get in way hope they solve they’re family bonds + Jason can fiddle with pc’s to design bikes that a chimp can do he certainly not Jr if Jr had tech that Sr got occ wouldn’t have a chance Jr put occ were they are today obviously Sr knows the contacts but none in occ can make bikes like Jr why is Sr unable to see this but I don’t know what happens when cameras are off I hope Sr,Jr+mike solve they’re problems Sr should know family before business which hes forgot
