Sorry, I don’t believe Jr’s bike was the best. He used a “theme” again and now a foundation to benefit his bike. Why can’t he come up with a concept except when using a theme? Sr’s and James’s bikes are from the heart and soul. Both were new and exciting and completly out of their way of building a bike. Even the bike from “Fast and Loud” showed more thinking than Jr’s.
Jesse likes to say he built 99% of everything on the bike, what a joke. There is no footage of his bike rolling because it could not take any torque to the rear wheel, it did not even work. A Last year repeat, of another bike that really could not be rode, because last year no one could see over the handle bars. But somehow Jr. getting inspiration from vintage cars etc. is a bad thing. I really don’t get you guys.
If my vote was for the one I wanted to buy and ride, then last year Jesse would have won, this year Paul Sr. would have collected the win. I can appreciate each individual artist for the motorcycle that was created for the TV show audience, however I can do with out all the drama. The earlier biker build off series was a better format, still the produces want to make it like a Jerry Springer episode and that just doesn’t appeal to me. The creators of the program should be ashamed that that take a potentially educational program of what can be achieved with talent and turn it into a “Honey Boo-Boo” catastrophe!
I think Fast and Loud”s bike was the best, it was old school, you could ride it without looking like your trying too hard, and it was just plain cool! I think Jr. made a nice bike, but it is not really a bike you could ride for any distance, sure he made an art form, but this contest was for best Motorcycle. Paul’s bike’s look very similar in design, not much different than any of his others except the Cadillac Bike, now that was a great bike. Jesse’s bike fell short this year as well, no one really wants a crouch rocket look a like! Sad to say that this years bike show winner really did not win in many hard core peoples eyes.
