CLICK TO SEE THE AMERICAN CHOPPER: BUILD OFF  WINNER!

The build-off that fans have been waiting for since American Chopper: The Series began has finally occured. Paul Teutul, Sr. , Paul Teutul, Jr. and Jesse James have all completed their respective bikes for the build-off, and now it’s time for you to decide the winner.

Fresh from a five year break from bike building, Jesse James was quick to attack his competition. With a kiln in tow, the master bike builder began his taunting with a cake delivery to OCC and PJD featuring a certain gender’s genitalia.

Of course, if you caught any of tonight’s episode, you know that the cake is the least of what James had in store. Revealing his true feelings about the Teutuls (with many swear words bleeped out), James mocked their ability to build a bike, though he did admit that it’s difficult to even compare their two styles.

Wanting to build everything he could by hand, James took to his familiar approach to bike building, which resulted in a beautiful chopper (as expected). As James said, “My theme is: bike.” But is it enough to top what Orange County Choppers and Paul Jr. Designs are bringing to the table? And is Jesse correct is saying that it’s impossible to compare the types of bikes he builds with the types of bikes Senior and Junior build?

Next up is Orange County Choppers, with their twist to the build-off. Instead of building a simple bike, OCC decided to go with an electric powered snowmobile-esque trike, which would require the rider to laydown to ride it. Replacing the tires with track, OCC ended up with something that’s more like an off-road vehicle than a bike.

In some ways, one might say that OCC was personifying the “complaints” that James has with their approach to bike building. With flame throwers to complete the build, OCC is ready to be judged, but are expecting to come in last.

Unlike his father, Paul Jr. decided to go with a theme build. Bringing a plane from WWI in the shop, Junior and company took on the task of designing with similar stylings. Proving to use more rivets to build a bike than ever before, Junior’s completed bike is without any type of fancy paint job from Nubby, but the theme is certainly conveyed brilliantly.

And now it’s up to you. You wanted a build-off between Senior, Junior and Jesse James, and now you have to decide who built the best bike by visiting the voting page on Discovery (and let us know how you voted here, as well).

  1. Maybe Bandit Balls asked JR to build one million airplane bikes hoping that all ww11 air pilots will buy them. The selling feature is the smoke out of the gas tank. Jr gave the look of a shot down airplane very bad poor decision in his attempt. Difference from occ and dj is jr builds theme bikes. Occ and jj build for the average rider they have store fronts and jr has none.

  2. Paul Sr Got what he had coming a swift kick in the butt by his son he treated his flesh and blood like dirt and Paul Sr has his mind so bent on electronic bikes and bike toys to Drag Race???? Know one but stupid speed junkie’s give a crap about non-street legal bikes that cost a fortune to build and the “WANNA BE BIKE” ATV was a waste and maybe a toy for you and Jessie has to put others down to make him seem like he has some self worth. But the whole world is in agreement and I knew long time coming that Paulie was not going to take it anymore and was planning to go on his own because Paul Sr you have a God Complex and It is not to late to change but you better figure out a way to make money because the big jobs are going Paul Jr ways and even if he forgives you he can’t work with you ever again “FACT”! Really didn’t get much into Jessi James because he is a has been.

    • his son would not know any thing if his dad did not teach him and he is a jerk and a big babby

  3. cable guy who made who Jr made sr or is it the other way around

    • I submit that their symbiotic relationship enabled both to be successful. Sr created and managed the business and Jr provided the creativity in design. But in the end, Discovery Channel’s American Chopper program is what made both of them – period. Without the show the OCC brand would be just another custom bike shop and there wouldn’t have ever been fame, a world headquarters or even this discussion. Regardless which side you support, who made who simply doesn’t matter any more. Sr’s unending assaults to undermine Jr’s efforts to go on his own has done it’s damage. Though they may someday be on speaking terms, they will never join forces again.
Sr vowed to distroy Jr, and all his on show rhetoric is geared to that end. His distasteful attacks has done the most damage to OCC and is becoming evident in the loss of clients, gimic bikes and less creative designs. The real question is will either have a solvent business after the show comes to an end.

  4. Sr had iron shop before he went full spring into motorcycles. It was Sr ‘s money that made gave Jr’s oppurtunity so let’s put the conspiracy away, Sr didn’t need discovery. He was a self made millionaire before he got into the bikes. Orange county iron works and his pther son runs it that never is on tv.

  5. Not quite. OC Iron works filed for bankruptcy. I doubt he had millions before AC.

    • That’s correct. When Sr sold it to his other son that has nothing to do with him when was barely solvent. They tried to cheat their creditors by setting up a new company and move assets under it leaving nothing but debts and uncollectable receivables and then filed bankruptcy. They didn’t get away with it. Creditors filed lawsuits and won. Sr wasn’t a millionaire until well into their American Chopper series.

    • Get your facks straight before posting faulse information! Orange County Ironworks did not file for bankrupcy. They built a new state of the art facility at a new location in Montgomery N.Y. They out grew the old shop.

      • You might mention that to the BANKRUPTCY TRUSTEE WHO SUED THE TEUTULS.

BTW, the word is Facts….as in, Paul Teutul, Paul M. Teutul, and Daniel Teutul were sued by Tom Genova, Bankruptcy Trustee, for bankruptcy fraud. OCIW, Inc. filed for bankruptcy on July 6th, 2005. Genvoa sued for fraud June 2007. Winter of 2008, OCIW, LLC settled with Genova for $500K.

You might actually KNOW what your talking about before posting idiot rants, ok?

  6. Conspiracy Theory that’s business. Bailed out by who——U.S. government you and I. Plus people think they know what happened. Don’t really have a clue. Say c t a Philadelphia lawyer, isn’t that what everyone wants to be.
Know every aspect and business then the person running it. Take alook at his house it was not the log cabin and most people would want to be in it.

  7. lets put it this way all you JJ haters. i dont know about you but all the so called winner P Jr. did was order parts the only parts P Jr. actually made was a gas tank cover and exhaust everything else he pulled out of a box. i seen JJ pull his bare stock off a trailer and make a bike out of nothing JR and SR have no talent in building motorcycles and are just piggybacking off the success of motorcycle mania 1 thats the only reason they are around. i would actually like to see discovery channel bring JJ back and have a series that you can actually gain knowledge by watching instead of losing brain cells by watching this JR vs SR crap but it keeps the hillbillies entertained so discovery will keep playing it

  8. Paul sr should Not of won the competition ! What the heck really atv tracks ? The bike is way off the track , looks like it came from NASA. Built by someone that don’t know a damn thing about bikes ! Jesse James should have won. I sure as hell would not drive Paul sr’s bike to a real bike event. Anyone that really rides knows Jesse won.

  9. now that junior won…jesse loser james should shot the f*** up and never again be shown to snr vs jr…coz’s he is just the loser who would never shot the f*** up….and hope that he or she would learn he’s or her lesson that jesse loser jame’s just a damn f****** loser…

  10. and for jr my hands is down for your creativeness and unique ways of building a bike..for sr keep up also good work for building bike…for jesse losser james ?????????….stay home and just watch them build bike that’s is much better than you!!!!!….

  11. Ok, so I know it’s been a while since the build off and I’ve not looked at any other comments so I don’t know if this has been said before… my take on things…
Firstly, jesssie’s bike may not have had the finesse of Paul’s, but as a welder / fabricator I know what a hard medium stainless steel is to work with. Get it too hot and you’ve blown it. Don’t get me wrong, I think jessie was a dick the way he went about things, but he is a seriously talented fabricator. If the contest had been based on fabrication talent Jessie would have won.
As for Paul senior, he, in my opinion created a “bike” he knew hair no chance of competing. That way he left himself netural and could use spin after the fact to make him more popular. As for Paul Jr. He played his hand flawlessly. A solid build that captured the sympathy of the nation, executed with finesse to the point of obsession. The whole 9 yards sucks. I love American chopper and would be happy to see them get back to basics instead of business and ratings.

  12. Seem like on ALL of the other buld off shows the bikes had to be riden to a destination somewhere. Paul Jr. Paul SR. Bikes couldn’t go around the block. I think there is a big difference in a bike and something fancy to put on a stage

  13. WOW!!!!! What to say I mean veryones went from hatin on Pauly to lovin Jessie James and seems almost like everyoneis just forgetting about Sr. Which for real has been bulin AN FABRACATING lol, bikes and all kinds of things before Jessie was SHITTING green,Senior brought his millions & millions of $$$$$ Empire from nothing but a backyard garage A dream.. A NO MATTER WHAT THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A BUNCH OF YOUNG GUYS WITH MONEY ALREADY LOOKIN TO BE SOMEBODY AN TO OUT DO THE TRUE AT HEART BUILDER THAT WORKED HIS ASS OFF TO GET WHERE HE IS AND FOR WHAT HE HAS. AND WE ALL KNOW JESSIE JAMES CARES MORE BOUT HIS SELF AND IMAGE,JUST LIKE THE SAD MARRIGE AN IT WAS ONLY SAD FOR THE SMART & BEAUTIFUL SANRA BULLOCK.. AND PAULY JR. OMG HE IS THE s*** X10 AN 10 AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!lol
BUT PAULY HA ALL THE GREAT TRICKS OF THE TRADE FROM Sr.AND FROM WHAT IV ALWAYS SEEN OF ANY OF HIS WORK HES GOT THE MAGIC (im sure than in more ways tha 1) LOL an has the KICKASS STAFF THAT STANDS BEHIND HIM 100% AN Pjr ALWAYS DOES THE SAME AN TOGETHER THAT = 100% PURE BADASS…… SO LETS GET READY FOR THE 2012 BUILD OFF!!!! AND I DO WISH ALL GOOD LUCK ANS SENIOR YOU’LL NEVER LOOSE THAT 1 OF A KIND TOUCH ON ALL YOUR PROJECTS….GOD BLESS TO ALL BUILDERS AN THEIR TEAMS & FAMLIYS

    • SORRY BOUT ALL THE LOST AND MISSING LETTERS AN SCREW UPS KEYBOARD IS STICKING GOT 2 SETS OF LITTLE FINGERS USING ALL THE TIME (LOL), an hope no ill feelings out there!! Just callin as I see it…

      • Lets forget it an move on already. Who cares its over an done.

  14. Paul jr will win again ok

  15. a sport bike is not a chopper.thats what paul and jessey baught to the table ?????????? paul jr and the grease monkey baught i gessas as close as chopper gets ?????? idont think so thats called a bobber yes or no please inform me thes guys are all good but i didnot see a chopper wish i had thair money and equment i would have showed up with a real chopper pauljr got first place with a bunch of shet metal welded to a frame hot rod car look i would have been boooooooooooooed of the stage because im not on tv thair are some great builders out thair u have no idea what poor people can do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. Thank you for letting the other dummies know that Orange County iron works didn’t go bancrupt. The expert lawyers on this site seem to listen to bullcrap and think they know everybodies business.

    • Wrong. OCIW, Inc. did, in fact, go bankrupt. You haven’t got a clue. OCIW, LLC, owned by Daniel Teutul, is still in business. Different companies.

      Sheesh.

  17. Well when you build a bike you shoud be Abel to ride it further than to the corner store it should be juded on more than appearance maybe practicality as well you should ride them 100 miles befor show

  18. Well when you build a bike you shoud be Abel to ride it further than to the corner store it should be juded on more than appearance maybe practicality as well you should ride them 100 miles befor show and see who is still standing

  19. Tkevan is so knowledgeable he hasn’t had a clue since he was born. Maybe you should get it right, take it from some one who is involved before you speak.

  20. Tkevan you do not have all the facts. You can not tell the difference from a show bike to rider bike.

    • Yeah, right. Who is Tom Genova?? Do you have a clue?? Who is Turner Construction?? Who owned Orange County Iron Works, INC?? Who NOW owns Orange County Iron Works, LLC??

All of my bikes are riders, to include the one I had Keith Martins shop do machine work on.

What a tool. Try again, knucklehead.
