VR says:

Man, that brought tears to my eyes and gave em goosebumps. Thank you Spike Jonze! Now I hope the movie lives up to that preview.

I haven’t read the book and I don’t think I need to. This has a really creepy, imaginative, weird, Labyrinth, Neverending Story, feel to it.

Huggybear says:

Looks good

J BIZ says:

Wow…..I’m a 27 year old male action junkie and even I think this movie looks great. I might have to read the book now….

blipvert says:

I grew up on the book as a wee one decades ago and now I read it to my kids. I am very excited to see this. Looks great!

Agnes says:

I raised my kids (21 and 23)on this book, and their dolls have absorbed much love. I can hardly wait to go see this with them – we will all cry – i just know it!

blipvert says:

Oh and to those who plan to get the book, just a forewarning that it is a childrens book and really only a dozen sentences long.

Richard says:

Awesome!

WOW!!..I am blown away!!!..Never before has a trailer made me care about the characters so deeply without seeing any character development on screen but I was cheering for that little guy and his big friend. It’s like I was cheering for them from about the halway point til the end of the trailer..Great job!!!This is what most trailers should do. This is now on my list of must see movies without a doubt..

Rob Keyes says:

Very interesting, I think this is a must-see for me :)

RobLion says:

Wow. He pulled it off! This was my favorite book as a small child and the monsters look just like the drawings in the book!

SK47 says:

That was absolutely beautiful and amazing! And that they used the perfect song to capture the right feel of the film with, I believe it is Arcade Fire is it not? I could be mistaken.
Ross you are right, Spike does have a creative mind for this. I would say, he and Michel Gondry are two directors with creative minds for this generation.

This and Mallick’s Tree Of Life are the ones I am most looking forward to this year!!!

Adrian says:

@ VR and No Name Face
Felt that same feeling…
That story brings back the innocents and joy of being a child with tons of adventures dreams and no real troubles.

Paterick says:

I watched that 6 times. There’s a reason I try not to get excited for Spike Jonze or Michel Gondry, because waiting hurts more than you know. Now I can’t watch furry animal or Jim Henson movies until this comes out…Damnit trailer.

Matt says:

I loved this book as a kid and can’t wait for this movie.

SK47 says:

@Paterick, I hear ya man!

Steven W, says:
