The ONLY Alien film that they should remake is Alien 3. Come on, folks. It was the end of this great franchise before they started rolling and you know it. It was garbage. Start where the masters left off. After Aliens… where can we go… especiall now… with CGI? Hmm….

A reboot of Alien 3 is far from as insulting as a reboot of the entire franchise. Two masterpieces… and then… nothing…? That’s no way to end a series. Give us 3 Alien masterpieces and many fans will be happy.

I was a bit torn when I read this so I popped in “Alien” and I have to say the movie is excelent but…the audio track is horrible. I have $6,000 worth of equipment in my living room and I actually turned it off because of the horrible audio. I love watching my old favorites but new and fresh is fun to. I loved the Star Trek reboot! Bring it on…reboot it and see if you can do it right. Who cares…nobody’s going to make you watch it. You know you will anyway when and if it comes out!

What’s worse then these reboots is bringing back characters that are dead in the story or too old in real life.
Weaver was really young in the first film how’s it going to look now with her in a prequel???

The Space Jockey was the pilot sitting behind a celestial navigation device (telescope) and the ship was a bomber designed to depopulate planets. they had a little “misfire” inside the “bomber”….the ship sat for 1.6 million years.. over time, many other races visited, as shown by all of the deactivated stasis fields and tipped over empty eggs in the bottom of the ship….

When Ripley and crew first found the Alien ‘nest’, there was a large extra terrestrial that was sitting in some sort of control chair, presumable the one who sent the warning. I’ve always wondered what that creature was and how it became a victim of the Aliens. That would be a movie I would look forward to.
