I’m a great fan of Rickman ie Snape. He was tremendous. His delivery of lines were most memorable parts of HP. I hope this movie delivers.

If you are a fan of Alice this movie strays from the story. I heard it picks up where Lewis Carroll ended.

I love Johnny Depp’s, Alan Rickman’s AND Crispin Glover’s acting! So many great actors in one film, I am SO excited for this film. I can’t remember the last time I was so excited for a film to come out!

I wonder if he is going to incorporate “Through the Looking Glass” as Disney did. It will be very interesting to see how Burton plays this one out.

This sounds great.

Also, what I’m guessing is that the “animation” bit means computer generated animation. So it’d be live action, computer animation, and stop-motion. Sounds good to me!

Hi, I’m a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland, Johnny Depp and Alan Rickman. It’ll be so exiting to see this film next year. I don’t remember ever waiting for a film this much. Or maybe Lord of the Rings.
I trust that Tim Burton will deliver and fill our expectations.

As far as The Day The Earth Stood Still goes, are you talking the remake or the original? I enjoyed the original, but I don’t want to see the remake…As far as most things Burton go, much love to them, I didn’t mind the Charlie and The Chocolate Factory mostly because they did keep most of the book material in line(except for the vermicious Knids). In any case I believe this will be a good flick and look forward to having the theatrical experience of watching it.

I am a huge Tim Burton fan. I love the trio of Burton, Carter and Depp. To me these three can make a movie and no matter what, it’s going to be great. I’m really looking forward to Alice. Rickman as the caterpillar is going to be funny, but he is perfect for it. I don’t know about the big headed Cater though. It’ll take a lot for me not to giggle every time I see that, but I think I’ll be able to hold it in, since it is my favorite actress.

I am thrilled about this film. I just recently heard about it and, like some of you, thought the Alice-Burton pairing is perfect. I was further excited by the casting choices. With only a very few exceptions, I love Tim Burton and Johnny Depp’s films, whether they are teamed up or not. ^^

I am also a huge Tim Burton fan and cannot wait for AIW 2010. .

To discuss what earlier comments were, using the same actors has been great for Burton. They all understand what he looks for on screen and how to portray what he needs from them in his unique style of film. I also hope it is less animation, but the guy pisses greatness.. so im not worried.

Side note:

I wonder if Burton ever considered Helena(his main lady + mother of his children) for the part of Alice…..

although she def knows her roles and they are obviously great together reguardless of where hes casting her in his movies

With the exception of ‘Planet of the Apes’ and ‘Charlie and the Willy Wonka remake’ (which I’ll NEVER see)
Everything Tim Burton does is magic, fresh and visually stunning.

And Rickman in Die Hard, Robin Hood, Sweeney Todd (singing)….amazing!

I can’t wait for this movie!

(I even have a high res shot from Corpse Bride as my wallpaper)
