Something big is happening tomorrow at camp Marvel and we’re not just referring to episode 6 of the second season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. This week’s episode was originally intended to be host to the premiere for the first trailer for The Avengers: Age of Ultron but leaks (or Hydra, as Marvel would tell you) saw it hit online early and spread like wildfire. It wasn’t long before Marvel accepted the buzz and launched early the official version and you can read our analysis of it here.

That was a potential blow to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. since it could have received a ratings boost for hosting the trailer but Marvel reacted fast and is adding something else to make up for it. All we know is that if you watch the episode you’ll get to see “even more footage” so it could be an extended trailer, something similar to what we saw at Comic-Con or something new entirely.

And the week after on Tuesday, November 4, ABC will host a special Marvel 75 Years: From Pulp to Pop! which will come with more of a sneak peek for Avengers: Age of Ultron as well. However, before all of that, Marvel Studios is hosting a special event tomorrow morning at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles. No one knows for sure what the presentation will be about but given today’s report that Benedict Cumberbatch is in final negotiations to play Doctor Strange we could finally see the film given its July 2016 release date, title card and an official casting announcement.

Or it could be even bigger than that. After Warner Bros. unveiled their next six years of DC Entertainment films dating all the way up to 2020, it’s time for Marvel to soon unveil what they have planned from now up until 2019. After all, in addition to Doctor Strange, there are five other unannounced Marvel Studios productions with official release dates.

With all of the recent news about The Avengers: Age of Ultron (and stay tuned on that front right here on Screen Rant tomorrow!) we’re learning little hints from rumors and reports about the future of Earth’s Mightiest. Robert Downey Jr. is extending his contract with Marvel to play a key role in Captain America 3 and The Avengers 3 may feature an entirely different team which could be setting up for a major event movie in 2018 or later that brings everyone together. One of new face to the Marvel Cinematic Universe who could be a part of that group is the character Bobbi Morse.

Morse a.k.a. Mockingbird (Adrianne Palicki) made her official debut in last week’s episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as an undercover agent working for Director Coulson and returns this week sporting her own superhero-esque duds for the first time. And the costume is very authentic to the character’s design from the comics. In fact, she’s practically ready to crossover into the movies and join The Avengers on the big screen. That’s one possibility Palicki expressed interest in when signing on to the role, realizing that talent will only get the chance to play one live-action character in the MCUso they need to choose wisely to give them a shot at an expanded role down the road.

In additional to the official ‘first look’ photo at Mockingbird’s costume last week, Marvel released four new photos from the upcoming episode titled ‘A Fractured House’. And Adrianne Palicki put on the uniform for a little teaser as well:

While Palicki compares her character to that of Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, and has the costume to justify it, we’ve yet to see her in a comparable badass action sequence. Even if they could bring some of her John Wick style choreography to the series, it would help a lot. Cool costume though.
