Marvel Television and ABC made the surprise move earlier this year to bring Ghost Rider to season 4 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. While the decision was initially questioned, it has proven to be one of the best things the show has done so far. Instead of highlighting the more well-known versions of the character, Gabriel Luna was brought on board to portray the lesser known Robbie Reyes iteration. Robbie differentiates himself by using the Hell Charger as his ride instead of the typical flaming motorcycle, but his look makes it impossible for him to be mistaken for anyone other than Ghost Rider.

He has so far been a major part of the story that this season is telling by introducing the dark magic book known as the Darkhold and bringing the baggage of his family ties. Both the book and his uncle Eli Morrow turned against him in the last episode, leaving the whereabouts of Ghost Rider, as well as Coulson and Fitz, up in the air. When Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns tomorrow, the newest clip shows the team will still be looking for the new hero.

IGN has shared an exclusive scene for the seventh episode of this season, titled "Deals With Our Devils," which primarily focused on a conversation between Daisy (Chloe Bennet) and Robbie's brother Gabe (Lorenzo Henrie). As Robbie appears to have vanished or died, Gabe is understandably concerned, but Daisy has been through enough hardships to have a feeling that everything will be okay. The surprise of the clip itself is Mack, who has repeatedly disagreed with working with Ghost Rider, potentially setting out to find him.

While it is still unclear how Ghost Rider, Coulson, and Fitz will be saved, their appearances in the episode have already been shown in promotional stills. Given the title and synopsis, whatever events unfold that lead to their saving appear to be tied to Ghost Rider. Could he have to sacrifice his powers to get them out of whatever dimension they are confined to? Potentially, but Clark Gregg has already teased that everything will turn out to be okay for the three missing characters.

This will not be the only storyline dealt with in 'Deals With Our Devils', as Simmons will come face to face with an Inhuman that has long been stuck in his Terrigenesis transformation. Should the Inhuman break out of his cocoon, he could also potentially be of service to saving the missing trio, but that is just speculation at this point.
