I love my DVR in that I DON'T have to watch ads!! So now we get the popups during the shows. Only the network is using it now, but how long will it be before we're watching a show and a Coke commercial pops up on the screen during the show??

Another thing I like about hulu is the option to rate the ad. It's nice to be able to tell advertisers what WE think...

I really like the Hulu model: FAR fewer commercials. You're right about the volume of commercials causing us to tune them out.

With the Hulu model the studio could charge far more and the advertiser would get better recognition. Of course the problem is there are so many more advertisers than available ad time with that way of doing it.
