Adam DeVine, known from his role in Pitch Perfect, has revealed that he is team Prince Harry amid the royal shakeup. Many celebrities are taking time to stick up for the handsome royal as he takes steps to become more independent.

While the United States of America has no monarchy of its own, many US citizens have adopted the British royals as their own. Americans were devastated at the loss of Princess Diana but were happy to see that her two sons turned out so well despite their mother's guidance, with both princes since they have gotten married and have children of their own. As the two princes have aged, there has been a bit of tension thanks to the latest royal addition - Prince Harry's wife Meghan Markle. The monarchy as most knew it seemed to be making some drastic changes, not all for the best.

Buckingham Place has been blindsided by the news of Prince Harry and Markle's decision of removing themselves as senior members of the royal family. DeVine shared his opinion with Us Weekly during their Candlelight Confessions, telling readers that he feels for the prince and his hard decisions. The 36-year-old actor did not even know the name of Prince William, so his choice was an easy one. The Pitch Perfect alum joked that Prince Harry had the more fun name so he would go with choosing him.  The comedian then took to calling the royal “Big H” and laughed because the prince was actually not hairy at all like his name would portray him. He then asked the host if he was bald, again mixing up the two princes.

The news broke on January 8th that the couple had decided to step aside from their senior royal duties to concentrate on launching a new charity as well as learning to become financially independent of the crown. The rest of the royal family was evidently blindsided by the news as Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan told no one of their future plans. The couple plan to split their time between England and North America. They also hope that this step back from the public eye will give their son, Archie a fighting chance at growing up normal.

Even though the couple has stated that they will still honor the commonwealth and support the Queen, Markle quickly left England and headed back to Canada after their announcement while Prince Harry stayed behind to help plan the 2021 Rugby League World Cup. The royal couple has already asked to keep their newly redone home in Windsor as well as their royal protection. Not only did the royal family feel blindsided, but so did most of the public who commented that it felt as if nothing mattered to the couple except for their own immediate gratification, with many implying that they live in a bubble of privilege.
