Is this a reboot of the old series or the same story told over again with new actors and effects?

I wonder will the skywriters create the letter V in RED!!

It will be curious to see which 26 sites. My guess probably the cities that were visited in the original series or this series. So I will go for London, Los Angeles, Sydney, and Chicago. I assume NYC and DC still have restrictions from 9/11.

I watched the promo video on this site it looks pretty good. I thought the TV screen at the bottom of the space ships was cool, but strange at the same time.

@Evan

Yes. First it was a mini-series in the 80’s (very well done and still very good today) … I own it on DVD) Second it was made into an ongoing series, while not as strong it was still fun to see a Sci-Fi™ show on TV every week that wasn’t Star Trek-esque.

I am looking forward to the premier on Nov. 3.

A&E has been running spots for the show. I will be interested to find out if this is just another tired invasion story or something more?
