They don't make the news, they don't get any radio play, they don't get much exposure of any kind. It seems to be limited primarily to the chosen geographic region. Intentional, perhaps? Sure, people still watch it for the excitement of the competition, but once it's over, it's over. It would be interesting to compare this to the trend of American Idol winners from subsequent seasons in other countries...
