		<description>The problem is, we rarely hear about any of the winners from other countries over here, except during American Idol shows.  They don&#039;t make the news, they don&#039;t get any radio play, they don&#039;t get much exposure of any kind.  It seems to be limited primarily to the chosen geographic region.  Intentional, perhaps?

		<description>Personally, I think it&#039;s pretty simple: The bloom is off the rose with this show. Sure, people still watch it for the excitement of the competition, but once it&#039;s over, it&#039;s over.

It would be interesting to compare this to the trend of American Idol winners from subsequent seasons in other countries...
