  1. Hhhmm…I didn’t know you gents spoke about games also in these. Maybe I should check these out when I get home…

Cabin in the woods was worth my $11. Hopefully I’ll say the same for Stooges and Raid. This month is like the first time ever I’ll watch 3 movies at the theaters in the same month so these 2 better not dissapoint…

    • HelghastUser –

I hope you do check them out. We do reference and/or talk about games sometimes in the cast – since Rob and I both write for GameRant – though the Game Rant news brief at the end is more of a teaser for GR content than an actual discussion most of the time.

  2. 1 – Hunger Games
    2 – The Three Stooges
    3 – The Lucky One
    4 – Titanic 3D
5 – Cabin in The Woods
    10 – Mirror Mirror

I checked out The Raid: Redemption and really enjoyed it but I wouldn’t give it a 5 more like a 4 for me. The fighting scenes especially the hand to hand fights were unbelievable. This film tries to add a character aspect and a good story but I think it raised to many questions that was not addressed. Hopefully the sequels will delve into some relationships and the motivating factors behind the plot. For the most part very entertaining and I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an action movie. Check out Kofi’s review for the expanding theater releases.

    • I’m finally going to see The Raid this weekend. I had so many reviews last week to deal with I didn’t get a chance – but it’s here in Denver now. Definitely looking forward to it.

  3. 1.The Lucky One
    2. The Hunger Games
    3. The Cabin In The Woods
    4.The Three Stooges
    5. Titanic 3D
    10. Wrath Of The Titans

There is a french canadian version of The Office and it was canceled after one season.

  4. 1 The Hunger Games
    2 The Lucky One
    3 Three Stooges
    4 Cabin In The Woods
    5 Titanic

    10 Lockout

  5. The location of Springfield pretty much sums up to this:
Kofi will get what that means.

  6. I want to throw in my favorite moment of The Cabin In The Woods but I don’t want to spoil anything so I’m going to be as vague as possible and hopefully you’ll get what I mean.

    POSSIBLE TCITW SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My favorite moment was while there was, let’s say a celebration going on but we can still see what’s happening on monitors in the background.
I was laughing as hard as I can remember at the theater in a long time.
Again, I hope that wasn’t much of a spoiler but I think people who have seen the movie will know what I mean.

  7. Hey Ben love the podcasts every week..any idea what movie you guys will review next week

    • Marcus – Thanks for listening! Glad you’re enjoying it.

We’re either going to do a summer preview (talk about the movies that we’re most excited about on the horizon) or we’re going to do a Flashback review: like for pre-Avengers solo projects or some fan-favorites like Jurassic Park, etc. We only plan on doing something like that on weeks where there are basically no movies that our listeners would want to hear us talk about ;)

  8. Spoilers:

Finally saw “Cabin In the Woods”. I agree with Anthony that it’s very Josh Whedon but it was still really fun. Fans of Josh Whedon’s “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” will recognize the underground lair like in Season 4 where a scientific and military group were studying all the supernatural creatures captured in Sunnydale.
