Yara opposed his job, as TLC viewers lashed out at her instead. Fans called Yara a gold digger and asked her to be content with Jovi’s career, as it funds her fashion and lifestyle anyway. But 90 Day Fiancé star Yara took one dig after another at her critics during her car-shopping spree, and now fans are mocking the Ukrainian woman for showing off Jovi’s wealth.
When Yara moved to the United States to marry Jovi on 90 Day Fiancé season 8, little did they know that they’d be rushing their relationship at the current pace. Within three months, 90 Day Fiancé's Jovi and Yara were not only married but also blessed with daughter Mylah in September 2020. Jovi’s job is what now worries Yara, who’s thinking that when it comes to watching his child grow up, the Nola man will never be there. During a recent 90 Day Fiancé episode, Yara also wanted Jovi to find a job where he wouldn’t be gone for four months while making it clear that if COVID-19 weren’t there, she’d have already found herself back in Ukraine.

To show off her happy marriage to Jovi, 90 Day Fiancé's Yara posted Instagram Stories about them shopping for an Audi, as shared on Reddit. As Jovi did his test drive, Yara asked her followers if they had the car and “what it feels like,” and joked that they don’t know because they “like Uber” as seen on 90 Day Fiancé. “Don’t call me a gold digger. I’m making money, okay?” added Yara. She also asked Jovi to tell her followers that while her husband “makes [a] majority” of the money, she makes “40%.” Furthermore, Yara also informed her Instagram fans that she wants an Audi Q7 or Q8, and wanted a recommendation from the “nice people” who follow her and not the “nasty” haters.
A TLC viewer on Reddit shared a screenshot of Yara’s Story, captioned, “Yara is buying Audi.” But others in the comments section couldn’t care less. “Complains when he has to go to work for a month or 2 at a time, but no complaints when he buys her things. Hmm. Weird,” wrote one 90 Day Fiancé fan. Another fan chimed in, “Jovi is buying an Audi,” replacing Yara's name from the original caption. A fan pointed out, “It's the showing off for me,” with a different comment saying, “It’s tacky as f*** to post about shit you buy like this.”
While fans do generally love 90 Day Fiancé's Yara and have even crowned her the best cast member of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, it’s the flaunting of her lavish lifestyle that sometimes seems to put them off.
