On a recent episode of 90 Day: The Single Life, Syngin Colchester and Tania Maduro revealed to Tania’s family their decision to get a divorce, but there were many signs that indicated the 90 Day Fiancé stars’ breakup is one-sided. Though some fans think Syngin and Tania are faking their breakup, the two are moving forward with their separation. However, there are significant differences between the way Tania and Syngin are approaching their split, and Tania appears to be having a much harder time with her impending divorce than her soon-to-be-ex.

Tania and Syngin’s relationship has never exactly been on solid ground, but things between them have clearly been getting worse. After several years of trying to make their marriage work, the couple decided to separate, though they stopped short of actually separating. As fans learned in their The Single Life debut episode, Syngin and Tania were still living together, sleeping in the same bed, and even having sex after they had decided to end their relationship. In the latest episode, Syngin and Tania got together with Tania’s mom and half sister to reveal the news that they were splitting up, and though Syngin seemed ok with the decision, Tania appeared less certain.

During their lunch meet up, Tania was very quiet, and Syngin did most of the talking. Many viewers picked up on the fact that Syngin was ready to move forward, but Tania seemed more hesitant. Before meeting up with her relatives, Tania spoke about her regrets and how she didn’t expect that she would ever be facing divorce. Although she’s respectful of what Syngin wants, Tania appears defeated more than anything else, and fans are worried that Tania is feeling depressed after her split from Syngin. It doesn’t look like Tania is as ready as Syngin is to end their relationship, and that’s a problem.

Syngin, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to care much about the end of their marriage, and spoke about being ready to move on. With the way Syngin acted during their lunch, the breakup isn’t as big of a deal to him, and it’s clear that he hasn’t thought about the implications of their relationship ending. However, Tania and her family are definitely thinking about what the breakup means on multiple levels. Their primary concern is that as co-sponsors, Tania and her mother are financially on the hook for Syngin until he becomes a U.S. citizen. That may not be weighing on Syngin’s mind, but it’s certainly stressing out Tania.

Although Syngin seems to be doing just fine with the breakup on 90 Day: The Single Life, that doesn’t mean he and Tania are on the same page. His soon-to-be-ex seems to be having a much more difficult time dealing with the end of their relationship, and she may not want to get a divorce at all. But Syngin seems more than ready to move on, so Tania will have to find a way to get used to the idea of being single once again.
