Syngin Colchester from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise was recently seen sporting a new physique while hanging out with a mystery woman. The South African native was first featured on the show with his now-estranged wife Tania Maduro. The couple found each other when Tania was in South Africa to meet another man who didn't show up for their date. She eventually struck up a conversation with a bartender who turned out to be Syngin. Even though Syngin and Tania had similar interests, like traveling, they seemed incompatible on screen. Still, the couple gave their relationship a shot and married in 2019.
During the two years of their marriage, Tania and Syngin realized that they desired very different things in their lives. While the Connecticut native wanted Syngin to be a responsible man and become a father, her husband just wished to chill without any responsibilities. In October 2021, the couple featured on 90 Day: The Single Life season 2 and announced their split. While watching the season, many 90 Day Fiancé viewers noticed that Syngin seemed eager to get back into the dating scene.
Syngin has been away from the small screen for a while and is now sporting a drastically different look from his first appearance on the show. According to a photo that appeared to be of Syngin posted by a fan page truecrime_jankie, the franchise star was recently hanging out with a new woman in San Diego. In the picture, which was probably snapped by a 90 Day Fiancé fan, Syngin can be seen wearing a black t-shirt and shorts and holding a beverage, presumably beer. Syngin's new mystery woman is also rocking a short black skirt, tank top, and white cardigan. Fans are stunned to see how different the 90 Day Fiancé star looks after splitting from his wife, Tania.
An Instagram user commented, "Whew, that beer bloat is no joke honey." Another fan chimed in, "Syngin is looking pretty healthy. Not missing a meal." Someone else wrote, "He's gain[ed] weight… maybe it's happy weight though… we'll hope his [sic] happy." While some 90 Day Fiancé fans compared Syngin to Big Ed and Andrew Kenton, others believe he's starting to look more like Colt Johnson. Most TLC viewers think that Syngin's new physique results from his drinking addiction. During the show, viewers noticed that he liked drinking beers even in the morning, and Tania was worried that his addiction would keep him from getting a job in America.
Now that Tania is out of Syngin's life, he appears to be enjoying his freedom and drinking as much as he wants. While he is seemingly living his best life in one of America's finest cities, many 90 Day Fiancé fans have turned against him. After one of Syngin's alleged girlfriends accused him of being physically abusive, he has stopped being one of fans' favorite cast members in the franchise. When Syngin first debuted on the show, many viewers liked his free-spirited personality and called out Tania for continuously trying to change him. But 90 Day Fiancé fans now think she was probably right about Syngin's drinking addiction.
