For the couples of 90 Day Fiancé season 6, 2021 was a year full of accomplishments, losses, new love stories, and more. Overall, certain 90 Day Fiancé stars had a better year than others, but it was mostly a mixed bag. Alas, these stars took the good with the bad and made the most of the past year.

Viewers know that the 90 Day Fiancé season 6 couples come from a more recent era of the series, so many of them were featured on franchise spin-offs that aired in 2021. Some cast members clearly want to stay out of the spotlight and managed to keep themselves hidden. Meanwhile, other stars were much more visible and kept fans informed about their major life changes.

Colt Johnson & Larissa Lima

Colt and Larissa have been broken up for some time. This past year, they’ve been living their own completely separate lives. Larissa, who recently moved from Colorado to Las Vegas, is living with her ex-boyfriend Eric. More often than not, she’s been reportedly focused on getting several cosmetic surgery procedures over the past year. Colt was a part of the 90 Day: The Single Life season 1 cast, where he pursued and later married his friend Vanessa. Unfortunately, Vanessa and Colt recently suffered a pregnancy loss, and the end of the year will be bittersweet.

Ashley Martson & Jay Smith

Earlier this year, Ashley and Jay finalized their divorce, which allowed them both to move on with their lives. Currently, Jay is still working as a tattoo artist and dating his girlfriend Kayla. In turn, Ashley achieved some major goals and opened up her own salon just a few months ago. She is also dating someone new and looks happier than fans have seen her in a long time.

Kalani Faagata & Asuelu Pulaa

Kalani and Asuelu appeared on another season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? in 2021, so fans got a good look at their lives this year. Asuelu was involved in a car accident that ultimately brought him and Kalani closer together. Though Kalani is happy with her family of four, Asuelu wants to have another baby, which could lead to more added stress in their relationship.

Jonathan Rivera & Fernanda Flores

Jonathan and Fernanda’s divorce was finalized a couple of years ago, and Jonathan obviously doesn’t want anything more to do with the 90 Day Fiancé franchise and has set his Instagram to private. Fernanda, on the other hand, has shown up again in spinoffs, appearing on The Single Life season 1. In 2021, she moved from Chicago to Miami and has been dating a professional boxer named Noel.

Eric Rosenbrook & Leida Margaretha

Notoriously disliked couple Eric and Leida might have been getting some harassment from fans because Leida appears to have deleted her Instagram account. Generally, it’s clear that the couple doesn’t care about keeping fans updated on their lives. The last they were heard from, Leida and Eric were trashing the franchise.

Steven Frend & Olga Koshimbetova

There’s been a lot of speculation about whether Steven and Olga are still together as of 2021. Earlier in the year, they took a trip to Russia with their son. Later, however, there were rumors that the couple had split up. With that said, Steven and Olga have since moved to New York City together because it had always been Olga’s dream. There are still many doubts about their relationship status because the two barely post about each other.

Some of the 90 Day Fiancé season 6 cast had a better 2021 than others. For many of them, this past year has been a rollercoaster, and though there were hard times, there were definitely good moments to be had. Even if 2021 was rough on the season 6 stars, there’s a chance 2022 could be better.
