The former 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Kalani Faagata, who was considering to divorce her husband, Asuelu Pulaa, is now "trying" to make her marriage work. She recently posted a happy family picture on her Instagram and let her followers know her relationship status.
Many 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? viewers would know that Kalani and Asuelu's marriage is far from perfect. Throughout season 5, the couple had several heated arguments and explosive fights, which ultimately worsened their relationship. Plus, Asuelu's extended family added fuel to the fire when they repeatedly demanded money from the couple. The 32-year-old reality TV star got so fed up with her husband and in-laws that she didn't want to be married anymore. She started contemplating divorce but decided to stay in the marriage only because of her two sons. Later on, she revealed that her husband isn't taking the coronavirus pandemic seriously and perhaps deliberately trying to contract the virus. That's why she asked him to leave her house and stay with his mother in Washington. Then, during the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Tell-All, she told the show host, Shaun Robinson, that she still isn't sure about her marriage. She said, "Having this person that I care about, and having them act one way when they feel like it. And then loving that person when they're like that and then having them act other ways that you hate and can't stand." She added, "So I just feel torn. I always feel torn because I love him but then we have so many issues that I can't see a way out of them." The Samoan native didn't appreciate Kalani's criticism, which was also supported by her mother and sister. He left the video call in between and didn't return.
Asuelu's reaction made many 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? fans believe that the couple's marriage was probably over. For weeks, they didn't even post any pictures together on their social media accounts, which could suggest that they are still together. However, the Utah native has now updated her Instagram followers about her marriage. She posted two happy pictures with her 24-year-old husband and two kids. The mommy of two captioned the IG post as "Trying," confirming that they are still together and working on their problems. Check out her post below:
