After appearing on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, controversial Angela Deem became a 90 Day Fiancé franchise regular. She married Michael Ilesanmi and joined the cast of 90 Day season 7, and they then moved on to 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, despite Michael never receiving his US visa. Angela has consistently verbally and emotionally abused Michael, while she has also physically lashed out. Their relationship reached a dire place during Happily Ever After? season 7, which left Angela announcing at the Tell-All finale that she would file for divorce, even if she wasn’t sure that she would actually go through with signing the papers.

It was a strange reversal, as she lashed out at Michael all season only to have him be attacked during the Tell-All while she was given a sympathetic edit. "Seriously TLC, we all saw Angela's abuse. She is not a victim. She is a villain. ..." an enraged user wrote.
They continued on, saying "Stop trying to gaslight us and DO NOT even think about bringing that old tramp back in a spin off." Some commenters noted that the Tell-All was suspiciously in Angela's favor, which could indicate she is still a TLC cast member.
