Popular 90 Day Fiancé twins Darcey Silva and Stacey Silva had a job at Hooters long before they starred on their own spin-off. Darcey & Stacey season 4 is currently airing. The 48-year-old Connecticut residents both debuted in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 3 when Darcey was going to meet her much younger boyfriend Jesse Meester for the first time. Darcey and Stacey’s lives changed overnight thanks to reality TV fame, and so did the way they look thanks to plastic surgery. Darcey and Stacey look very different in 2023.
It's been six years since fans first met Darcey on TLC. 90 Day Fiancé's Stacey, who was the supporting cast member in her storyline, and Darcey had dark brown hair and more natural-looking faces when compared to their current appearances. According to an interview with the NY Post, Darcey and Stacey used to work at Hooters. They used to be natural brunettes even then and had not gotten their first breast implants yet. Darcey confessed she and Stacey didn’t have “big hooters” when they worked at Hooters in Midtown West, which shut down in 2015.
Darcey described her obsession with going under the knife as “boob greed” since they’ve undergone procedures on their breasts three times. Darcey and Stacey were just in college when they donned the classic Hooters Girl orange shorts with Lycra tank tops.

“We got a booty and a hooter now,” said Darcey. “So, hey, we might have to take a little trip to a Hooters and hoot hoot around,” Darcey told the NY Post. Darcey and Stacey first got breast surgery in Beverly hills to fill out extra skin caused from breastfeeding. A couple of years later, they went to Miami to get a bigger bosom. More recently, wins Darcey and Stacey were in Turkey getting everything from new breasts to liposuction 360, fat buccal removal, a nose job, a lip lift, and new veneers. It was the Hooters job that helped Darcey and Stacey come out of their shells as they weren’t really the popular girls in school.
Darcey and Stacey have opened up about being bullied in the past. While they are now instantly recognizable anywhere across the world because of their TLC appearances, Darcey and Stacey have a dark past, which has made them the way they are now. Childhood bullying had a deep impact on Darcey and Stacey’s self-esteem, perhaps making them want to transform themselves because they never liked the way they looked in the mirror. 90 Day Fiancé stars Darcey and Stacey used to be introverted as kids and were never comfortable in their own skin. They were compared to “Troll Dolls or Monchhichis” just because they were quiet and short with curly hair.
Darcey and Stacey sat by themselves and didn’t have any friends. The comments they receive from 90 Day Fiancé viewers, no doubt, are just as hurtful to the sisters. Their “twin transformation” is, after all, just Darcey and Stacey striving to look like what they consider to be normal to please those who criticize them. While it’s fun to stumble upon old photos of Darcey and Stacey, it makes one wonder what things would have been like if they didn’t get obsessed with plastic surgery.
