eureka01 A 4th Season of Eureka Ordered By Syfy

For the Eureka TV series fan in all of us, we no longer have to worry if what we’re watching this season is going to be the end game to the show.

In fact it will be the stepping stone into the 4th season of Eureka.

Syfy channel not only renewed the show, they’ve ordered more episodes.  So next “year” we’re going to see 22 episodes versus this season which only had 18 episodes.

Now, all I’m worried about is whether Syfy will be making us pay for 2 boxed sets of season 4.0 and 4.5.  I hate those kind of dirty tactics, but what are we going to do?  We’re addicted and they know it.

  1. That’s exciting, it is a great show.

  2. you do realise it was announced over a month ago at comic con right?

  3. This is Great News I Love this show

  4. JIMMY: And not everyone gets that news. Or it’s a nice piece of info to remind folks about… but thanks for the insightful, keen-eyed reminder!

  5. Nice, really enjoy this show a lot!
I agree with you Bruce, I don’t like it when they break a season in half…happened with Battlestar and sort of did with The Shield.
Just give us the entire season.

  6. I love this show, but I haven’t seen it from the beginning. I’m going to have to find a website where I can see the first episodes.

More green Fargo; more sherriff Andy (hopefully); more extreme experiments. Who could say no to that? :-)

  7. I’m the same way, John. I really just started watching it this year. I’ve enjoyed every single episode. I wonder if the first few season are available for D/L on Netflix….

It’s a fun show to watch and it doesn’t take itself too seriously.

  8. I saw seasons 1 and 2 (06/07). I assumed 08 was 3 and 09 was 4. Did I miss something? I haven’t seen 08/09.

  9. LOL… welcome to Syfy Heath.

Syfy split up season 3 and aired it over a very long period of time. Remember how they split up BSG into 2 10 epi seasons. That kind of krap.

The actors of BSG called it getting 2 seasons on the cheap!

  10. Sigh… so 08 and 09 were season 3? I know a few people who worked on the Miami Ink crew, and TLC was trying to get the artists to agree to a continuation of season 4 (after doing like 20-something eps). If they called it season 5, there would’ve been raises, etc. the artists turned it down and that was it. no more miami ink. long live LA ink.

  11. I agrew with SK-47 on the dvd bs.

Great news that the show continues!!!

  12. I was able to order season 1 from Amazon for $20. I watched eps 1 and 2 last night. Didn’t know the sheriff got there by mistake. I wanted to see them for free but couldn’t find a website that showed them for free.

  13. This half-season crap sucks! I finished season 2 and wanted to see what Amazon was charging for season 3 but found out they were charging the same price ($20) for just half the season (I know, Bruce, you already mentioned that :-) ). I did get the 3 episodes I did miss (the ones before Clarke took over).

  14. OK, I just finished watching the season 3 (2009) finale, and I’m really glad to hear there’s going to be a season 4.

I read that Tess won’t be back because Jaime Ray Newman is on another show, but can someone tell me if Zoe (Jordan Hinson) will be back? I’ve really liked her character since the very 1st episode, and I’ll be sad if she isn’t in the next season.

  15. I picked up all the box sets so far and just finished watching the first season. What a great, great, fun show. I hope it stays fresh and that we continue to get the great stories that each episode seems to bring. The one episode of Allison in her underwear trying to seduce Jack is priceless!!! 😛

  16. Good news! I love this show but after the so-called “3rd Season – I was worried. It wasn’t just the way it was shown – but the story lines weren’t nearly as creative or entertaining as the first two seasons. I hope the writers get back on track to the original formula. I’d hate to see yet another good show go like too many others where they start off great than get incredibly stupid and boring i.e. Lost, Heroes, the 4400 etc..
