Attention all fanboys! If you were thinking of scoring four-day + preview night passes for San Diego Comic-Con 2010, think again. According to Collider, the four-day + preview night passes are already sold out. Let me repeat that again in bold: the four-day + preview night passes are already sold out.
You heard it right. Even though there are still more than 280 days until Comic-Con 2010, organizers are already selling out of tickets. It’s kind of amazing when you sit down and think about it. I mean, Comic-Con 2009 ended less than three months ago! Most people haven’t even planned their costumes yet, let alone bought tickets.
As of this moment, the regular 4-day passes are still available but don’t expect them to last.
What gives? Well, According to Collider, one of the reasons for the faster than usual sell-out is the fact that organizers are trying to cut down on the crowds that plagued this past year’s event. Whatever the reason may be, don’t miss out on your chance to get tickets to Comic-Con 2010. Click here to buy your tickets today.

4 days+ preview at Comic Con, would kill my love for Comics and all things science fiction. What a marketing overload.
One day was enough for me.
Erm… wouldn’t you plan what you’re wearing after getting tickets anyway? Then again, I suppose it is Comic-Con. ;o)
I purchased my four day tickets with preview the day they went on sale .
Always the best strategy
Im going 2011.
Well, I’ve never been to Comic-Con, so I can’t say that 4 days+preview would kill my love for science fiction and comics.
The only thing which has kept me away from Comic Con all these years is the price tag for the whole thing.
Actually, if I did get to go to Comic Con, I’d become a nervous, giggling, awe-struck fangirl (who’d have thunk it?) because I’d be sharing the same space with some pretty awesome people, and I’d be doing my best not to babble incoherently (especially if I got to meet RDJ.. ).
@Stephie, what I meant was that its pretty overwhelming there’s so many people there and so little space.
And this place is a cavern,,,lol.
The San Diego convention center is huge!!!!
Here’s some of the things I saw in 4 hours on Sunday this years show,,,
John Cryer walking around with his son. I talked to J Michael Stravinski at the train station a few blocks away. Richard Hatch was available for photos and autographs. Peter Mayhew was signing Chewbacca stuff. Leonard Nimoy and Brent Spiner were signing stuff.
Lots of fans were dressed in there favorite characters. I met this one guy who was a dead on David Tennant, dressed up in the plaid suit ensemble. Nice chap,,, That’s just in 4 hours,,!
Anyway,,,that’s the thing if you have lots of cash the place is a paradise of sci-fi, comic, horror and video games. The surrounding area is high class uptown San Diego and the city is beautiful but pricey.
If anyone lives in Calefornia I highly reccomend the Amtrak Train as it disembarks 2 blocks from the madness,,,,
Next Comic-Con should be awesome. Spider-Man 4, Thor, Green Lantern and Captain America coverage.
Right on Iron Knight,,!
Maybe I’ll see you there,,?
YES Gary! They say the tickets are refundable, so why not buy them anyway. I kept telling my friend to buy the freakin’ tickets with preview night. one month later he still didn’t buy them and TAH DAH! SOLD OUT! I’m so angry with him. He better get the 4 day pass.
I’m upset because we live in Ontario Canada and I’ve been planning this for them. So if he does not get the tickets now and misses out, that trip is DONE.
But do you guys think there will be people refunding tickets that include Preview Night?
Frankly, I’m pissed off. They need to find a bigger venue or something.
I figured I at least had until January, and was trying to plan a fan gathering when I discovered this just now.
i have 2 four day passes but need to sell them. is there a way to change the info on the tickets to that of the buyers

Is this the truth? Would love to go! How do I know you are legit? Don’t want to be had?
Unfortunately, I believe the only way is to request a refund. They mark the names on purpose and intentionally withhold the passes until the day of, to prevent selling of the passes. I would like a pass but am one of many who missed out…
