We here at Screen Rant wanted to celebrate the upcoming summer movie season – particularly the release of Iron Man 2 – by taking an unconventional look at some of the most iconic superheroes in the entertainment industry.
Over the past few months, you may have caught some of our “SR Picks” which highlighted various artists’ interpretations of Quentin Tarantino films, Star Wars and popular television series. Today, we’re stepping out from solely presenting these wonderful posters and taking the initiative to create some of our own.
For the past three nights, I put my need for a good night’s sleep aside in order to present you, the reader, with literally dozens of superhero posters with a unique, minimalist twist.
Some may be more obvious than others, but hopefully you’ll have no problem identifying each and every comic-book icon represented. If, for some reason, you’re not a fan of the typical comic book hero (Capes & Cowls), I’ve also thrown in some of my favorite off-beat superhero characters from television’s past.
I apologize in advance if your favorite superhero is not included, but I’m sure with 30 posters to choose from you’ll have no problem finding something to pique your interest. You can click on the posters below for a larger version of each.

Not minimalistic enough.
Eiether you make the poster REALLY minimalistic, or you do a normal complex-poster.
There is nothing in the middle.
Most of them are only logos and names.
Hope you don’t take this as an insult but rather as a honest criticism.

Cool idea, though too many unnecessary belts. The Batman and Punisher ones are even minimalist, they are just the emblems plus a belt.
I think my choice so far has got to be the GREEN LANTERN, and my least favorite is the SUPERMAN, I don’t know why, but I just don’t like it lol.
Not to diminish the work put on this posters, but honestly I think this is a poor develpoment of many other well thought minimalistic movie posters circulating on the Internet. Minimalism here seems to mean reducing the frame on which a Superhoero is depicted, whereas in other works, there´s a concept behind the design.

Well the guys who put the work into creating these aren’t professional artists, but their goal was to take the images down to the bare minimum where you could still identify the superhero.
Do a R2D2 one!!! These would make great iPhone wallpapers.
So, do you have any plans to fix the colors on the Superman poster? Superman’s insignia is a red S on a yellow background.

I can’t believe the amount of complaints people leave regarding these posters. Creative criticism I understand, but blatantly complaining? Give credit where it’s due. These are nice posters by guys who aren’t even professionals. I think they’re pretty cool.
