  1. o yes it would be okay for nbc ……….i love 24 and hate to see it end……one of the greatest dramas ever……….just love keifer sutherland as jack bauer…………there will never be another show like that…………..i could never get tired of it……..so lets keep it going………….at least for another one or two years.

  2. 24 should end on FOX, then make a feature film, then return to network television on NBC. They could use the feature film as a jumping off point for another network and perhaps kill off key people (not Jack) to make the show seem as if it is breeding new life on NBC. Of course, it will be on NBC and will most likely fail since it isn't a Thursday night comedy or ER. But, if they put it in ER's old time slot, it just might having some staying power. Then again, I doubt this will ever happen since NBC execs are nothing more than (fill in obligatory negative comment from a Conan O'Brien fan).

  3. Being A Conan O'Brien Supporter…. I have to say I hate NBC. If it wasn't for “Community” and “The Office”, my TV would never tune into NBC again.

That having been said…. I LOVE 24 and would follow it anywhere. There is no other character like Jack Bauer. He is the freakin' man!!!

  4. With some of the laziest writing on the planet at this point, let's clip the 'whiff of purchasing by another network” for 24 already. It's got a LONG way to go this season to showcase some self-worth and I just can't see any network, much less NBC (that has paid so much money out to “late nite comics” alone) at this point. I think the only “whiff” I'd take a sniff at would be FX, where 24 could cut loose.

  5. I don't care what network or cable channel carries '24', I'm watching it!!!

  6. I would like for them to have at least one final season where the writers and everyone else go into it knowing it is the final season so they can have a final sendoff. I would hate for them to rush together a series finale this season that doesn't give the show the sendoff it deserves.

  7. I really like this idea. Although I've watched avidly for 8 long years, the show does show signs of aging.

It's been through 2 reboots: a much-needed location change to DC, then to New York, and brand new casts each time. Still, the creators are limited as to what they can do, because a lot of fans think Jack = 24. There was a rumor that there could have been a spin-off featuring Freddie Prinze Jr's character in Season 8 and this would make a lot more sense to me IF the show were to live on. But at the very least, give it a dignified death.

  11. Why spread false rumors mate,
this NBC thing was bogus, NBC is not interested at all in 24. They may be big fans of the show but in business terms with 24's bad ratings and most importantly sky rocket production costs, they said NO WAY JOSE, pass go and exit.

    24 is CANCELED and rightfully.

    Sorry.
