Bal says:

This was my first time watching 24 and I liked it…cant wait for tomorrow…Jack Bauer kicks ASS!

Sylar's Hunger Continues says:

How long before the neopacifist FBI chick is gouging out eyeballs or snipping off toes, and LIKING IT? I say before January is out. And Garofilo–I say she’s in stilted conversation with her mental doppelganger Chloe before the clock strikes.

Bauer Fan says:

I am a huge fan of the show 24 and tonights episode was great. I think this season is gearing up to be one of the best and will have lots of surprises in it.

Sylar's Hunger Continues says:

Vic, I’m disappointed to know in advance who is going to show up this season. I’m sure this info is “all over the internet” but until now, I was able to let the story play out.

Gary says:

I think Tony Is undercover too.
and I think its a wimpy cop out.
I am hoping that ultimately Tony is running his own game on everyone.
If they are going to advertise friend versus friend then lets really see it!

INK says:

Like Bal, my first time watching he show and I’m hooked. I own the first season on DVD but haven’t watched it yet. Might have to have a “24″ hour marathon this weekend. :)

Ted says:

I agree with Gary. I don’t think that Tony is totally crooked. I also think that female FBI agent is up to something. I think she is using Jack. To me she was just far to accomodating

Gary says:

Anybody care to translate some rating numbers for me ?
the first hour of 24 came in at 7.0/10.
And 7.1/10 in the second hour.
looks like its a little better in the second .
zap2it describes it as “A solid start”
How many viewers is that ?
and how does it compare to past 24 premieres?

jackburton says:

I believe the female press is played by Cherry Jones, and her character’s name is Allison Taylor, unless you were purposely saying the President’s name is Allison and not played by Allison. Anyhoo. I guess I was one of those people who wasn’t bowled over by the Redemption movie, and I love 24. And yeah, I think it’s pretty obvious Tony is undercover, the way he kept wanting to know more about the bad guy’s operations. Sounds like a mole to me.

Remember you can also check out the Official 24 Fox Fan Community Wiki at:

http://24wiki.fox.com/

The people there are great and the structure has been improved much since the last train-wreck incarnation of the Official Fan website. Same with their Sarah Connor Wiki effort. Great stuff.

So far the first two hrs are terrific. Shows back on track!

Re: Monday’s episodes

So far no long-lost relatives…and I hope it stays that way. Though I’m sure Kim is the surprise mastermind behind it all.

Interesting how they predictably, but entertainingly, juxtaposed Chloe with Janeane Garofalo’s character.

And, looks like I was right about the FBI woman discovering the joys of torture before the month was out.

@Sylar’s Hunger

Well now that the spoilers are out of the way, eh? :-)

sara mellquist says:

Awesome! I am so hooked on htis show…One dissapointment was to see and almost hear J.Garafolo….could barely understand her and she looks like she has no computer skills at all….Please tell me this is a one or two episode deal…..

Andy S says:

With the first 4 episodes of the season under our belts, I have to say that I am very excited about Day 7 thus far. It seems like the writers haven’t missed a beat when it comes to action and suspense. If the rest of the season is as good as the first 4 hours, this is going to be one helluva ride!!!

Sylar's Hunger Continues says:

Vic, my post said re: Monday’s Ep. so that was a spoiler warning.

Don’t tell me now, but if my sarcasm about Kim turns out to be true, I will be found running out of the room pulling my hair, screaming, and jumping out the window. (And I’m in a basement apartment.)

Rob Keyes says:

Just watched the first two episodes from sunday’s 2-parter and it was EPIC!

Now I know why I love this show – what high production quality, action and drama and it never disappoints me like so many big budget films do.

I haven’t watched monday’s 2-parter yet but I will this weekend – My prediction is that Tony and Jack will have to partner up and work together against something

Rob says:

Well that was quick – they are working together in eps 3 and 4, lol-

notafananymore says:

This season and its writers are bad! When did Jack, Chloe and Tony become nazi like mass murderers?? So Tony were awared what that CPI device could do and because of their “lets reveal a conspiracy plan” hundreds of thousands are dead in africa because us troops couldnt intervene ?? im sorry for 24
