So true, juanita green. I mean yes, I liked Rob’s performance in Twilight and Eclipse, not necessarily New Moon, but I still do believe he delivered his best performance in Remember Me as the male lead. However, Andrew should get more credit than he did. He blew Alice out of the water just because of him, at least in my opinion. All in favor of re-nomination say “I”!!!

so what i want to know is, why isn't andrew lee potts name mentioned anywhere here…i think he did a phenomenal job in SYFY's Alice…he should get some type of recognition… Rob Pattinson is not the only young talented british actor of this decade..look at Andrew's credentials and you will see what i am talking about….

Hans Zimmer's score for Sherlock Holmes was so imaginative and awesome. It was a real treat to get this kind of orchestral score during the holiday movie season. I bought the CD earlier this month, and it's quickly become one of the most played CD's I have.

I really think Hans Zimmer should get the award, but if he doesn't, Michael Giacchino's score of Up should get the win. Both scores are fantastic.

Hans Zimmer better beat James Horner's gay score. That Sherlock Holmes score was awesome. I actually went out and bought one of the songs on iTunes, and it's not very often I do that. Hans Zimmer should get it

Yeah these awards are nothing but a joke with categories like “Best Performance by a Younger Actor”. Give me a break. And nominees like Zoe Saldana, Transformers 2, Knowing, Ice Age 3, and Knowing?? You gotta be kidding me. These awards are worthless.

These awards are an absolute joke. The only film awards that matter to me are the Oscars, Golden Globes, SAGs (Screen Actors Guild; because the actors themselves vote to choose the winners), BAFTAs, and the Broadcast Film Critics Association Awards (aka the Critics Choice Awards).

I don't agree with New Moon being put into the Horror category. That should be fantasy. I have seen that multiple time and its not horror at all….someone needs to define why its here.

I hope HBP wins everything they're nominated for! That was a great film with amazing special effects and art direction and everything else.

But I agree with everyone, these nominations seem like a joke. And now that I know they're like the Scream Awards (which are definitely a joke)…I'm not really surprised that they would nominate a film about sparkly rocks and puppy dogs as HORROR! Lmfao!

Twilight: New Moon is nominated for Best Horror Film? They've got to be kidding, right?

I'd love to see Zombieland win for Best Horror Film, Moon win for Best Science Fiction Film (this movie scared the crap out of me, which is why I'm getting the DVD) and Watchmen win for Best Fantasy Film.

As for the other categories... I'd love to see District 9 win for Best Writing, and three of my favorite film music composers (Michael Giacchino, Christopher Young and Hans Zimmer) are nominated for Best Music, but none of their scores will win. James Horner's sappy score for Avatar will win that category.

And when it comes to the acting... there were too many good performances for me to pick one winner, but I am hoping that Robert Downey, Jr. will get the nod for Sherlock Holmes.

I couldn't help but laugh when I saw Twilight: New Moon nominated as best Horror Film, lol.

Also I disagree with Avatar being nominated for best Fantasy and Writing, just seems like it should be nominated for best Sci-fi.
