    i'm mike watch so enjoy... it's vote! thanks movies...
  • Christian Villegas
    Hey guys, how come you didn't list Dispicable Me?
  • Andy S
    Jack Black ruins any film he's in. School of Rock would have been ALOT better with ANYONE else. I kept hoping he'd be eaten in King Kong (or at least squashed by a dino). He's just REALLY REALLY annoying, so I KNOW I won't be seeing Gulliver's Travels with him in it.
  • Miroz
    OK guys i read it all i am full of excitment BUT!!!! there is always a BUT... you guys didnt mention "Dead of Night" witch i am really REALLY waitng for... i red comic Dylan dog so i relly want to see this movie... any new news on this movie? reles date? i know it should be in 2010 i think the plan was around march but people i need dates. dates i need!
  • Z
    Ooo, Gulliver's Travels!

    Although Jack Black being in it makes me leery. Nothin' against Jack, I just don't go for the kind of movies he's usually in. I liked King Kong and Kung Fu Panda, but those are the exceptions...

    And I'm dying to see how David Slade does Twilight. Admit it. You are, too.

    2010 may actually be a decent movie year.
  • Foopher
    I think the Saw movies have done a good job of having a plot and mixing it up. But the description of VII sounds just like the description of V and VI. And 3D? Honestly???
  • @greenknight333

    Hell yeah, Wimbledon also features the god among men that is Sam Neill. And who can complain to Kirsten Dunst in a tennis skirt?
  • @ Old man

    Holy cripes, Predators! Adding that now! Thanks!
  • jordi
    @gk333

    I'd agree with the Doctor on that one, even 'Wimbledon'! :D

    Not even Bettany could make me watch 'A Knight's Tale' again though.
  • greenknight333
    @ DrSam

    "anything with Paul Bettany in is worth watching!"

    Including Wimbeldon? :)
  • I think Legion looks really cool, anything with Paul Bettany in is worth watching!
  • jordi
    @SIN187UM

    Just imdb'd Gabriel. No sam Worthington. Did you mean I should ring Sam and ask if he wanted to watch it? ;)
  • jordi
    @SIN187UM

    I've not seen Gabriel thanks I'll check it out. BTW I said it didn't sound cheesy not that it was totally original :) The whole Angels with autos (hmmm I like that, catchy) point is that I hate films where the heroes have the opportunity to get better weapons but don't and instead keep the same crappy sword/Glock/rolled up magazine for the entire fire-fight!

    @greenknight333

    Actually Cobra was one of the movies in my head when I wrote that :D

    'Crime is a disease. I'm the cure.' How can you hate such classic lines :D
  • Ken J
    Adrien Brodey in a Predator film? I hope it's straight to DVD...
  • the_old_man
    I guess "Robert Rodriguez's Predators" is either off the release schedule or unofficial rumor has it in the god-awful direct to video category?? Any truth to that?
  • rich
    wow, the american sounds AWESOME

    and grown ups?? adam sandler back in comedy?? sweet!
  • SIN187UM
    OVER THE TOP IS A CLASSIC!!!! HOW DARE U BASH IT!!!! DONT MAKE ME TURN MY HAT BACK!!!!!!
  • greenknight333
    @ jordi

    "all-out, action-packed, dumb fun rollercoaster ride"

    I can handle that!! :)

    But not cheesy like Cobra or Over the Top which was cliched and "Over the top" ..sorry.. that was cheesy too !!
  • SIN187UM
    @jordi

    You need to go watch GABRIEL with Sam Worthing. LEgion is not a new concept by any means, and aside from the granny crawling on the ceiling it looks like a pretty meh film.

    OMG the angels have guns....................... pffft. When times change so must your weaponry
  • KanTstandYa
    The future Kofi all the way to the year 2000?

    In the year 2000 tiger woods quits golf and focuses on the all inclusive "cocktail waitress" challenge.
  • Stephen
    wow, I didn't know there were that many interesting, or at least entertaining, movies coming out next year. I might need to get myself a separate bank account just for my movie going experiences. :D
    Especially looking forward to Daybreakers, Iron Man 2, Inception, and most of all Inception.
  • jordi
    @greenknight333

    I dunno. Half of me wants The Expendables to be an 80s macho cheesefest! Just an all-out, action-packed, dumb fun rollercoaster ride! :D
  • greenknight333
    Red Dawn was cool when I was 15..but it's premise is unrealistic...teenage football players beating experienced Russian commandos in warfare...c'mon..
  • greenknight333
    I hope The Expendables is not cliched and cheesy ..Expectations from fanboys out there may be too high..
  • jordi
    @Ken J

    Legion looks cheesy?

    Angels with automatic rifles bringing the apocalypse = Awesome!

    What's not to like?! :D
  • Joshua Rose
    Steve Carrel and Tina Fey are doing a movie together?? Date Night just got added to my list.

    Also looking forward to Edge of Darkness, Shutter Island, Inception, Airbender, Expendables, and Alice in Wonderland.
  • Ken J
    Daybreakers I want to see. Probably the only semi-interesting vampire movie in the last decade...

    Youth in Revolt, yay, Michael Cera playing the same role he plays in every movie he's in, yay!...

    Book of Eli: Bring it Ray Stevenson! lol

    The Lovely Bones: I'm disappointed to hear some of these negative reviews, I was looking forward to this one, the trailer made it look pretty intriguing...

    Legion: Seems pretty cheesy, but I know a friend that would definitely be interested, so might end up watching it. Plus it has Dennis Quaid in it... :-P

    Edge of Darkness: Can't wait!! Casino Royale meets Mel Gibson! lol.

    From Paris with Love looks retarded as hell...

    Percy Jackson: I'm interested, might end up watching it.

    Cop Out: Looks pretty dumb, and Kevin Smith... meh... But it has Bruce Willis, might watch it, or might catch it on rental, depending on the reviews. Dammit Bruce, make a kick-ass action movie again, like another Die Hard, or hopefully Red will kick ass...

    Green Zone: Matt Damon in a movie about Iraq... I wonder what political spin that movie will have... Hm, what a mystery... lol

    CLASH OF THE TITANS!! DAMN THE GODS!!! lol Release the Kraken!! :-D

    The Losers: When I first heard about this, had absolutely 0 interest, but now, I'll wait until it comes out and read what the reviews say...

    IRON MAN 2!!!!! Nah, not interested at all.... LOL!! Man, I can't freakin' wait, come on Stephie, we'll meet in the middle and watch the premier somewhere in between Illinois and Florida, lol. Everyone's invited! Iron Man party! Woot!! :-D

    Robin Hood: *yawn* yah, steal from the evil rich, give to the poor, awwww, sounds like our government's tax plan...

    Prince of Persia looks kind of cheesy, but it's a video game movie, so as long as it doesn't completely suck, it's accomplished something, lol.

    Karate Kid: Ah, a Chinese guy teaching a kid Chinese martial arts in a movie with a Japanese (well, Okinawan) martial art as the title... Yah, makes complete sense... *rolls eyes*

    Toy Story 3: Heck yah, I can't wait, TS 1 and 2 were great!

    Wow, June and July, other than Toy Story 3, just a bunch of crap...

    The Expendables, hm, Bruce Willis, Sly Stallone, and Arnold Schwarzenegger all on the screen at once? How can you lose?? lol

    Friday the 13th 2, I liked the first one actually, but only as a rental, won't pay to go watch it, lol.

    George Clooney is The American... Let's hope he doesn't represent the rest of us in America... Unless we're all self-centered BS artists...

    Red: Here we go, time for Bruce to show us what's up...

    Red Dawn: They better not mess this one up, or I hope Patrick Swayze himself gets to rise from his grave to strangle the director...

    Chronicles of Narnia: Hey, saw the other two, can't wait to see how it pans out.

    Tron: Legacy: Woot!! Can't wait!

    Hm... it appears 2010 has more to offer than I once thought! :-) Great list, thanks Kofi!
  • SIN187UM
    its a about damn time they remade The Howling. IT BETTER NOT SUCK EITHER. VAMPIRES = PFFFT!!!!
  • Glass
    I'm excited for Inception, THe Book of Eli and Shutter Island!
  • greenknight333
    I have no interest in Tron...I hated the first film and it seems quite archaic when watched today IMO..so nothing about a new movie makes me compelled to see it..Must sees for me next year:

    Iron Man 2
    Toy Story 3
    Green Zone
    Clash of the Titans
    Robin Hood
    Little Fockers
    The Last Airbender(save judgement on that til I see a trailer)
