I think you were experiencing a problem with the format. IMHO, there's NO way a 10 minute preview can be good: 1) If it doesn't give the whole movie away, then it's the 10 most boring minutes 2) If it shows anything interesting besides what's in the normal preview, it ruins the movie 3) The Format is wrong. It's on TV not in a theater. It's in the middle of another program, not standing by itself. I've never once seen an interesting extended 10 minute preview. IMHO, there’s NO way a 10 minute preview can be good:

1) If it doesn’t give the whole movie away, then it’s the 10 most boring minutes
2) If it shows anything interesting besides what’s in the normal preview, it ruins the movie
3) The Format is wrong. It’s on TV not in a theater. It’s in the middle of another program, not standing by itself.

I’ve never once seen an interesting extended 10 minute preview.
